Your Copic practicing has paid off. You did a wonderful job on both the cards. I think we are our worst critics, so believe me when I say these cards are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
OH. MY. WORD. These are JUST absolutely gorgeous. And I bet you've taken Sandy's class haven't you? I SEE Sandy in this. The trees. The water. AND the snow. Stephanie, they're perfect.
These cards are incredible... If I could offer one bit of advice.. Allow yourself to say you are an artist... you are! One is not just an artist because they have achieved some imaginary level of skill.. one who makes art .. is by definition .. an artist. All artists are still learning. Repeat after me: I am an artist... :) Cheers !!
Sharon you are so right, i totally agree with you. If you do any kind of art, then your are an artist :D And what a great video. I have really been struggeling with trying to make a snowy landscape. By that i mean coloring a landscape. And then i suddenly stumb over one of your videos... And BOOM, you had all the right answers.... So thank u :D (Sorry about my spelling)
Quite frankly I think both of the cards were stunning. Would love to see you do more scenes and your learning process. I didn't see anything worthy of change in either of these scenes. Thanks for sharing.
These cards are just darling! You may say you're not a professional artist but the end result is amazing and looks very professional! Thank you for sharing.
Oh my gosh !! I love how you created these cards. If you are not an artist, then I don't think I will ever give this a try, cause your work is fabulous compared to my creations !! Great Job, and thanks for sharing. Love it.
A lovely card Stephanie and i agree that yes it might be darker than your snowbear but you have balanced it with the darker night sky as well shining on the frozen pond, so i think you did a fantastic job. Secondly, ANYONE that takes their time and trouble to put themselves up on this type of forum deserves encouragement, you are braver than me, as it takes a lot of willpower and bravery to put your work and skills on display, so for me you could take 30 mins and as long as you are enjoying the process as well, i just thank you for putting up your projects showcasing your talent. x
I think one advantage of taping the panel down is so that it doesn't slip and slide as you're coloring. You don't have to constantly hold it this way. Love your scenes.
I think both of them are fantastic....they have their own look about them...you did a fabulous job...thanks for sharing this with us...I really enjoyed it...
Stephanie, Your cards are wonderful, and I appreciate your telling us at the beginning that you are always working to improve your coloring talents. You are a fine, fine artist with a natural talent. As others have mentioned, I can see you have been paying attention to Sandy Allnock. I'm especially taken by the background trees, and the ease with which you drew/colored them. Yes, I would enjoy seeing more videos as you continue with your Copic skills.
I think I may try your way and start taping down my card so the ink doesn't pool from going over the edge of the paper. Thank you for sharing this video. Love these cards. Xx
This is awesome, Stephanie! I think it's smart to tape it down - you don't have to worry about your marker catching on the colored panels and you get smoother marker edges! Thanks for sharing your process!
I really enjoyed this video and I learned a lot (thought I already knew most everything LOL). It was so interesting to see you create the scene including the snow. I really wanted to see how you made that blizzard and I think it was worth the effort you put into it. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing your process Stephanie! It amazes me how critical we are of ourselves cause girl, your backgrounds are amazing...that's why everyone is asking you about them! Two thumbs up Stephanie!
I think these cards are fantastic! Truly! Just amazed at how you created them! I'd watch the whole video if you didn't speed it up! 😊I kinda wish colorists would keep their coloring in real time because I love to see how it comes together from beginning to end! Thank you for sharing this! I really enjoyed watching it!
WOW! Beautiful job! Glad that you have pressed on and practiced! I’m such an instant gratification girl...... I get frustrated quickly! I am ready for things to settle down so I can start my Sandy classes!
Oh my goodness, you are way too modest! Steph! These cards are jaw-dropping amazing! I was so excited to see this video up when I came home from work today, I actually made myself a snack and settled in to watch! I was starving, and I kept forgetting to eat because I was so entranced by the process. I think they're both absolutely incredible, but if you forced me to pick one, I think I actually prefer the bunny background. I like the rings around the moon, and I think your snow bank in front looks awesome. But that polar bear! Love that set. Thank you so much for the amazing video! I would love to see you do more like this when you have time.
Kudos for creating your own background! I think it looks amazing. I haven’t yet ventured into such detailed backgrounds, but would like to do so. Please make more videos like this. Between you and Sandy Allnock, I can continue to enjoy learning with my Copic markers. Thank you!
Thank you for your tutorial. I’ve watched a million and yours was the best. It was concise, informative and I liked your “matter of fact” presentation style. I have purchased over 70 markers (lucky me), but I’ve had no idea how to work with them and was treating them (obviously unsuccessfully) as “normal” markers. Time to try them out the right way,
Thanks so much! I don't Copic color (except for grays for shading) but I can definitely apply what you taught to my watercoloring these types of simple scenes. Don't underestimate your artistry :) Beautiful scenes and fantastic video!
Holy cow! If you're just learning and you did such an amazing job I can't image how it would look after you've mastered it more. Beautiful tutorial and both scenes are stunning. Big thumbs up. 😊
WOW Stephanie, this is amazing! You have done a wonderful job and I enjoyed the video immensely. I would love to see you do more of these, by all means! Thanks for sharing this, I pinned it for inspiration.
These are just wonderful designs! I can’t believe you are self-taught......you are amazing! I can understand your feelings about each design, but to me, the bunny design reminds me of one of those extremely bitter cold nights when the air seems frozen & ice crystals from in the sky, making those rings in the moonlight. You intended to do that. See? Lol
Hey Stephanie!! Your cards are wonderful!!! I think you do an awesome job on your card panels!! Bravo 👏 !!! I would definitely love to see more videos from you...you are an inspiration!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!! ❄️❄️❄️
luv this! LUV how you give credit to those who inspire you too! you've inspired me to try backgrounds again :D I wonder if you tried the rag-technique that Kathy Racoosin does for the snow transition?
I love that background! :) Thanks for sharing! :) Yes Sandy is an amazing artist but so are you! :) That transition from ice to snow.... Thats a difficult one... Struggle with that transition too.... But! Somewhere down the line we will get it how we want it! :)
I think you did a great job overall, Stephanie! In fact, the sky in the bunny card makes me think of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" painting--minus the stars, of course. :) One tip with the reflection of the bunny. Because her back foot is up off the ice, the reflection/shadow should not touch the skate. There should be a gap, since the skate is not directly on the ice. Hope that makes sense. :) Otherwise, like I said, wonderful job! Tfs! :)
These caught my eye. I think they are adorable, I love the sky and the ice and trees. Just a wonderful scene. Thanks so much for sharing with us. I don't have copic markers, I have spectrum noir pens. Since most of you designers have copic it's hard for me to figure colors out because I feel they ate so different. Is there a way to compare them, a website or chart? Sandy is a wonderful person tho learn from, such a great color teacher. I think you did a wonderful job. Like you said practice.
You do a fantastic job at these backgrounds. I know it is natural for us to want to compare ourselves with others, but just because you don’t feel yours are as good as Sandy Allnock’s doesn’t mean they aren’t good! Try not to do that to yourself, I know I do it too so I am the pot calling the kettle black 😂😂. Thank you so much for sharing your thought process, it really helped me get an idea of how to do this and I want to give it a go. I’m sure mine won’t look as good as yours, but with practice I can improve, right? By the way, I like the idea of taping it down, it just seems like it would be asker to work with, wouldn’t be slipping and sliding different ways, etc...
Your Copic practicing has paid off. You did a wonderful job on both the cards. I think we are our worst critics, so believe me when I say these cards are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
These are amazing nighttime winter scenes! Yes, I love Sandy, too. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Both of your cards are beautiful. I love how you did your trees. You need to give yourself for credit, you are truly an artist. Thank you for sharing.
Don’t be so hard on yourself. You are a true artist! Beautiful work! Yes we want more videos!
Absolutely fantastic card - don’t sell yourself short it’s fabulous
OH. MY. WORD. These are JUST absolutely gorgeous. And I bet you've taken Sandy's class haven't you? I SEE Sandy in this. The trees. The water. AND the snow. Stephanie, they're perfect.
Absolutely beautiful! You are an artist and colorist. Sandy would be proud!
These cards are incredible... If I could offer one bit of advice.. Allow yourself to say you are an artist... you are! One is not just an artist because they have achieved some imaginary level of skill.. one who makes art .. is by definition .. an artist. All artists are still learning. sharon olsen Awwww You are so sweet and positive. I hope she sees your very sweet comment. 😊
Sharon you are so right, i totally agree with you.
If you do any kind of art, then your are an artist :D

And then i suddenly stumb over one of your videos... And BOOM, you had all the right answers.... So thank u :D (Sorry about my spelling)
The cards are gorgeous. You don't have to apologize for anything.
These scenes are beautiful! Fabulous Copic coloring!
Stephanie great job on both cards - each one depicts a "mood".
Great night scene! (Sandy Allnock would be proud. 😘) Your trees are amazing! 🇨🇦
Oh my gosh !! I love how you created these cards. If you are not an artist, then I don't think I will ever give this a try, cause your work is fabulous compared to my creations !! Great Job, and thanks for sharing. Love it.
You are doing a great job Stephanie! Didnt think it was too long or too talkative.
A lovely card Stephanie and i agree that yes it might be darker than your snowbear but you have balanced it with the darker night sky as well shining on the frozen pond, so i think you did a fantastic job. I love your trees!! I LOVE these cards! Awesome coloring!!
I think both of them are fantastic....they have their own look about them...you did a fabulous job...thanks for sharing this with us...I really enjoyed it...

Wow you did an amazing job!!! You are really good at coloring!! Stunning cards!
LOL! I saw the cards and said, “hey, Sandy did a couple cards for MFT” You did a great job!
We’re ALWAYS our own worst critic. You don’t give yourself enough credit, they’re BOTH gorgeous!
Stephanie, Your cards are wonderful, and I appreciate your telling us at the beginning that you are always working to improve your coloring talents. You are a fine, fine artist with a natural talent. I missed this video months ago Stephanie - thanks so much for the shout out....I'm so glad my videos helped you!!
I think I may try your way and start taping down my card so the ink doesn't pool from going over the edge of the paper. Thank you for sharing this video. Love these cards. Xx
This was great to watch.... inspiring to go try it....Look forward to more of the same.. Thanks so much for taking the time to video this..
Just gorgeous and you are an artist; love it😍👍🏻🌹
This is awesome, Stephanie! I think it's smart to tape it down - you don't have to worry about your marker catching on the colored panels and you get smoother marker edges! Thanks for sharing your process!
Wow, so amazing coloring. You shut be Very proud of this card.
Your cards are beautiful! You said you’re not an artist, but clearly you are. I think Sandy would agree!
Stunning! I could never do this. What a talent!
Colouring is tough but colour, colour, colour & it will get better. I think your trees look very realistic.
I really enjoyed this video and I learned a lot (thought I already knew most everything LOL). It was so interesting to see you create the scene including the snow. I really wanted to see how you made that blizzard and I think it was worth the effort you put into it. Thanks for sharing!

These are two incredible cards!
They are beautiful!! You did a great job. One layer cards are scary to do. I try stepping out of the box once in a while, but mine are not that great.
Definitely would like to see more! You are getting really good with these scenes. These cards are beautiful, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for taking the time to show this step by step!!! I will definitely give this a try!

Awesome! I hope someday I can not be an artist like you!
I think you did an awesome job with both the cards I hope I do as well
Thank you for sharing. These are so awesome. 😊
