Eye contact is really helpful. Before inviting a lady to dance I try make eye contact first. If she looks away quickly I take it that she is not interested in being invited. Otherwise I ask her to dance. Even then sometimes she might say no or later. No offence taken :)
There’s singles, and also couples. There’s couples that only dance with each other, and couples that truly go social dancing, which means dancing with others. Body language says a lot…but nothing wrong with asking the lady to dance, if you see the guy is uncomfortable, you can ask him as well if he’s ok with that…and take it from there hehe! i'm sorry but these are the worst pieces of advice i've ever heard from a girl to guys ,plus you make the whole scene sound very depressing..social dancing isn`t some some giant dating rally..i would say just dance with everyone ,and smile ,ignore people who are full of themselves and judging others gossiping and stuff..they are killing the vibe...if she says no ,don't invite her again ,there are plenty other women to dance with ,she will come back to you if she meant that she was just resting.you got to smell good ,be a gentleman and spread good vibes regardless of your level.

@@daliadance i disagree with the analysing body language ,eye sight etc when inviting someone to dance with .It's something you do when you want to approach someone you would like to date.Social dancing is about sharing mn of practise ,musicality and energy..If you overthink things on the dance floor ,you will miss oportunities ,create wierd energy nods around you..of course i don't disagree with everything you said ,i may have sounded a little harsh sorry about that.Of course we love you and your content ,thank you for sharing your insight and happy dancing to you too!(i'm off to Barcelona tonight😁)
