Nice jovidian - I was still trying to tame the amx leading up to the buff, but I was generally pleased with the tank as a whole. Can’t wait to try the tamed version.
I have in the garage and I play absolutely EVERY french thank that was buffed in 1.26. And yes the buffs are soooo nice. Amx 13 75 and 12t are so enjoyable, they already were but now they are a blast. Bourrasque, AMx CDA, and so on. And with the crew changes no more incompatibilities with the crew skills. 1.26 was so nice to french tanks.
@iyouxin AMX 30 tier 9 has better gunhandling than tier 8 A.P. same acc, same speed, better reload than M46 Patton... I am curious to see you giving it a second try :P
Yeah I thought that tank was nice 1st time when I played it, also not much armour but surprisingly bounces a lot of shots because of such sloped front.

I always said that A.P AMX 30 is OP, even back before the buffs. Don't get me wrong, the buffs are totally justified, because they ruined the game forever with tanks like BZ-176, Skoda T 56, etc. So, why do I think that this tank is OP? It has the highest gun depression of any medium tank at that tier, 11 degrees, it is fast, it has good enough camo, and it has the combination of decent accuracy and very very good penetration, on top of its not-240 alfa damage(300). I'm surprised you thought that the tank wasn't useful. The only thing lacking was the gun handling, but even that was very easy to fix with bond equipment. Oh, and I forgot, the tank even has decent armor. The turret bounces quite a lot, and the hull armor is very closed to auto bounce angles, which you can quickly achieve on ridge tops.

I left wot for wows in 2015. Maybe played 40 games from 2015 until 2022. Iyouxin makes me want to come back. I've literally played 0 games with bond equipment or field mods. These improvements intrigue me.
as someone who has tamed the pre-buffed AP AMX, playing the buffed state is simply cheating at this point.

oh what were the buffs to 13 75 and 12t? i missed those, thought they were just getting some of the modules moved reworked

That first game shows the tank still has to be fully aimed to hit and propensity to catch fire.

A.P. AMX 30 is basically what the Lansen C should have been. It has always been good enough, but now it's even better.
