@@narandil5481 I mean like a theme, which sound-changes tend to correspond with each other and how to play with that. How to develop something really naturalistic and creative? 😃
what changes happened to create it? at first i thought that geminated plosives create it, but anukue doesnt have a geminated plosive, so how does it work? is it bc of geminated plosives and anukue lost the gemination or something else? and did for example u become eo in certain context or did eo become u?
Breaking is a form of i-mutation, brightening is pre-geminate vowel lowering, and bending is like brightening but where /h/ vocalised to /i/ pre-front vowels and /u/ pre-non-front vowels. Throw in a bit of irregularity and variations between the declensions which occurred in Norasse and voilà. The distinction between brightening and bending is considered somewhat archaic. More often, nouns which undergo brightening, like vipe 'ash', actually following bending rules, so that the dative singular has the archaic form 'vipue' while most modern speakers would instead use 'vepue'.
I was wondering, what phonological changes happend to evolve Agēre from the proto lang?
Many! I might share them all at some point, I’ll certainly give examples in my conlang creation series
@@narandil5481 Cant wait to see them, I just started doing mine for my conlang and boy, it isn't easy coming up with them. God bless
Is there a way, that you tell us also how to choose the phon. changes & how to give this change a "theme"?
@@Hauskreisbenni hey Bela, what do you mean by a theme? I certainly might make another video focussing on how I evolved the consonant/vowel changes
