I see so many comments regarding love, but honestly these moving songs cause a wave of nostalgia and realisation in me. I remember as a kid, I thought love was going to be this amazing thing. Truth be told, I looked forward to growing up, to find the liberty of life and have someone to share it with. But now as a young adult, I find myself wishing to be a kid. Funny how that happens. As a child, you wish to grow older but once you realise what a disappointment it is, growing up, you start longing for the past.

I was island hopping between Santorini and Crete in 2016, only spend 4 nights; in Heraklion & Chania (sunset!!!). I was busy traveling between cities and shopping, I didn't event have time to chill on any beach. I did visited the Knossos temple and the Minoan art, it was amazing.

wow just look at color of the sea and sky
I saw this type of color on Rhodes beaches too in July, I have been to Heraklion and Chania, but their beach don't have these shades of col-bot/turquoise blue. I was in Crete for it's history but I can actually swim in Rhodes.

Wow. We went there about 15 years ago, and drove a car around the coast, and all we found was Star Beach, and another beach full of gravel. Maybe a bit of research beforehand might have been an idea. Doh!

Don't go to places tourists go. Eat and go shopping only where you see Greeks local people.Take your time and ask locals about the places you must not miss.Crete has many beautiful places. Best climate,best food on planet here! Have fun!
