at 25:30 ... I worked at that gas station (in 1986). at 27:17 on the right is what used to be The Red Brick Tavern (most notorious bar in town.. 80's/90's ? ). at 28:09.... that as a still shot just killed me! got into a fight at that burger king ( 1984/85ish).... right behind it are the tracks (tree line), there is/was a roller skating rink that everybody went to back there. all the guys would go up on the tracks to fight, then either to burger king or mc d's (I'm talking 1979). class mate was killed in that spot crossing the road to mc d's. there was also a drive in theater on the left. friday/saturday night the streets were full of classic muscle cars. they would park in BK's and mc d's parking lots. For me it was 100% pure and true Americana (late 70's , early 80's). haven't seen that place since 1992/93. Thanks dude!!!! I could narrate some insane stories from back in the day to a lot of this video. It's south jersey, it's always been a rough place.
Thanks for the literal drive down memory lane! I was hoping you made a left at the 11:00 minute mark off Broad to Fayette & you did. When you made that right around the 12:40 mark, I felt like I was in the car with you. I posted in Part 1 that I lived in the Bridgeton Villas & Glen Park and you drove through both of them. I even saw my old elementary school. Too bad you didn't drive through the center of town on Pearl Street. Thanks again!
Bro drove past the jail. That was deeper than a lot of yall realize. A bunch of yall dh yung bouls gone end up there if you keep making bad decisions or using those substances that corrupting your mind.
