Had this as a landing saw back in 1978/79. Slow turning, big chain went through mud better. One day my main saw died ad I had to use this beast in the woods. about wore me out!!
I have the twin to that beast running now. Chain oil was working it's way into the engine cylinder and the problem turned out to be a special rubber ring on the chain oil pump plunger body. They say these style of saws are 'good stumpers' because the exhaust comes out of the side instead of the front.

Dawg is up side down. The chains comp .404 Gauge. Good old saws.
