Keď vŕtaš veľké diery do kovu, tak skús menšie otáčky. Takto produkuješ zbytočne veľa tepla a akurát "spáliš" vrták. Na chladenie je dobrý obyčajný lieh.
Áno plne súhlasím. Bol to vlastne experiment ci to vŕtačka vôbec dokonči bez poškodenia. a prežila.
If this drill press is similar to mine, then it’s 500w*, meaning it delivers 500w of power at the slowest speed, but really has a 1/6hp motor or about 125w, you can easily stall it, for woodworking it’s ok, except for hole saws, for steel you need to use the slowest speed, and use multiple bits from pilot hole up to desired hole size, i.e. if you want a 20mm hole, drill a 4mm pilot, switch to 8mm, then to 10mm, then to 12mm, then to 14mm and so on up to 20mm, if jumping from even to even size seems too much, just go up as needed.
Take a rubber mallet and take off the chuck, then reseat it in order to get closer to true.
These cheap drill presses are good for saving some of that elbow grease, other than that, they flex in multiple locations, from the table to the head to the column... really... at 110kgf on the chuck, it flexes hard, realistically, you cannot apply more than 40kgf with a hand drill, so are they worth it? Yes they are, however, if you can purchase an old school one off of someone, I’d recommend those over the ones available in the shop with a price tag less than ~$500

@@FORWORKANDFUN Wrong my friends. A motors Wattage rating is the amount of current required at full load.
it is not related to the speed requested from a gearbox or a pully system.
It is related to the load applied to the motor.
Wattage is a direct rate of the power available - it is the same for a cars horsepower rating, it doesn't matter what gear a car is in the horsepower will not change.
My friend you are very correct for the suggestion of pilot drilling. The comparison is similar to trying to start moving in a car with manual transmission. would you start to move in 3rd Gear ???
Big bit, small RPM.
Small bit, more RPM.
Where you need a big whole, you make first a whole with a small bit 4mm and after with big bit.
Speed is way too fast for 28mm drill bit. 350rpm max, and should have drilled a series of pilot holes. Never try to drill that size hole without pilot drilling. You can damage the bit or your drill and will end up with an oversized or oval hole. Do some research before doing the review

Very good demo, great stress tests really showed what this can do, i can only find this on ebay - £160 (Parkside Bench Pillar Drill Press PTBM 500 E5 500W) worth that price?
I found one at Lidl for £67 in Sweden. That might not help you much but..
Drill by 28 mm to fast and have to make a pre hole of 5 mm

Ako deštrukčný test vrtačky super. Po tomto videu si ju asi kúpim. Keď si ju nezničil ty tak už asi nikto...

Ten veľký vrták bol už naozaj extrém. Bežne vrtam aj ja max 8-10mm ale aj tak nepredvrtavam . Inak vŕtačka stále funguje.
@@FORWORKANDFUN Dobrý den/ahoj, dneska jsem si také koupil tuto stolní vrtačku a chtěl jsem jen vědět jestli ta hlava vrtačky která se jen přiklepne k tyči drží dostatečně pevně ? Je poněkud zvláštní nedávat tam žádný šroub apod. Ale snad to má Lidl/parkside promáknutý předem děkuji za odpověď.

Ha kisebb fúróval fúrnék előre, akkor jobb lenne. És még az alacsonyabb sebesség is rendben lenne.
