- I went to Signal Iduna Park (Westfalenstadion) to watch Borussia Dortmund and finally witness the Yellow Wall.
The fans were incredible and generated an amazing atmosphere as Dortmund beat Hoffenheim 1-0 thanks to a Marco Reus goal.

Been to a few games in Germany Sam. Best football culture in the World. Hope you cover more games over there. The second division is actually better and more competitive than the Bundesliga. Met you at the Celtic Women's game a few months back at Petershill. Brilliant content as always mate. 👍
Good win for Borussia Dortmund yesterday.
The signal iduna park is nice.
Nice to see the Evonik Borussia Dortmund kits and hoffenheim are a village team in the Bundesliga.

Shame you had to leave early, but looks like an amazing experience. I went to see Mainz v Dortmund in December 2019 and it was a fantastic atmosphere. Everything in German football is really well set up for the fans. WIth it being a couple of weeks before Christmas, they even had some Christmas market stalls selling food and Gluhwein outside the stadium. It's an out of town stadium, but there were loads of free buses put on by the club between the railway station and the stadium. I was sitting with the home fans during the game and had bought a Mainz scarf which I was wearing, but on the train back to Frankfurt I got talking to a group of Dortmund fans when they could tell I was slightly struggling with my very basic German. When I told them I was from Scotland they were offering me a couple of cans of beer from the carry out they had bought for the train journey home. It was really nice to see groups of opposing fans getting on so well with each other and how friendly everything was in general.
Scottish fan here. Was at the game, standing in the 'yellow wall'. Shame I didn't bump in to you. You've been doing superb videos - love the Scottish lower league ones especially. All the best and see you on the road :))
How much does it cost to be in the yellow wall? Is it dangerous? Would love to be there
Hi, sorry for the very long delay. Just saw it now. I think we paid around €18 for a standing place in the yellow wall. The atmosphere is beautiful. It's like a big family. When fans come in separated groups, they just ask you if they can stand together. People shift around to accommodate others. It looks intimidating on screen but in actual fact, it's a fantastic experience. BVB Family! :))

I am going to be there next week and I am so excited to finally experience the yellow wall live. Traveling all the way from the United States
Hope you saw a good match my friend.
When I had to be in Dortmund for a trip (not football related!) I stayed in Düsseldorf. It was cheaper to fly in and out of Düsseldorf, stay in Düsseldorf and get the train to Dortmund each day than to was to do everything in Dortmund.
Been to Germany twice to watch Everton such a great country and place to watch football
One of your first subscribers here and Dortmund supporter from Germany living an hour from there. Finally you made it to a Dortmund match. In Scotland I follow Partick Thistle, watching their games through the livestream from time to time. Great video. Tage care
Nice Post thanks 👍✌💙⚪
Dortmund is the best club and have amazing fans
If you are the best club why you getting your Arsch kicked since 11 years by Bayern??? 💀👎👎
Sam are you going to be at Celtic park on Tuesday night for the game against some small Spanish team?
Stress less lad Ur doing a superb job always a pleasure watching ur uploads here in Australia.. CRACK ON SON and HOWAY THE LADS!!!!
Sam would be great if you go to Köln as they are my German team as I’m half German had to follow a side. They are after almost getting relegated 2 seasons ago we look to be back as a competitive team. Thanks for these videos they are brilliant 👍
Was surprised to see someone from kickcaudy in this vid. Hope everyone still got there tvs😂😂😂

Hey great video, If you go to Portugal again please go watch Vitoria sc, its my club, and we have great fans and great enviromment. So just letting you know!! Keep up!
When will you do a video in Italy? I’m an Interista and think it would be awesome if you do some vids in Italy.
I've been thinking about it for a while! Need to see the San Siro/Giuseppe Meazza before it's knocked down and rebuilt. I'll come over in 2023 I hope!
grazie per aver guardato i miei video!
Grazie,I’m an American of Italian ancestry I’ve never been to Milan I’ve seen them play three times in the USA vs Milan,Estudiantes of Argentina and Valencia. I meet the club in 2016 and met my idol Javier Zanetti!!!! Keep up the awesome work I love your videos can’t get enough of them.

I am a big fan of German Football.
Hamburger S.V would be my club
but I do have others I like to watch mostly in the lower divisions.
As Scotland dont get to many
World Cups or Euros if Scotland dont make it I always cheer on Germany ever since they
Knocked England out of
Euro 96 before anyone says anything I have plenty of English friends it's just away of getting some football banter from time to time
when International football is on.
But yes German football is amazing
It has a lot to offer that has been lost mostly in
The English Premier League not at all Stadiums in The Premier League but the vast majority of them.
I was at the Pollok VS Beith Juniors game myself on Friday night with my Girlfriend it was diabolicaly bad one of the worst games I have ever seen in my life at any level it was that bad the scoreline was deceptive at the end it was 3 - 2 to Beith but for the vast majority of the game it was like pulling teeth to watch you could see how dull the game was buy the look on people's faces.
Yes we lost 3 - 2 but we had scored
6 in both our previous games so I dont know what went wrong in this one our players looked like they had just met before the game there was zero cohesion about our performance Beith had sacked there Mangers prior to the game.
Keep Safe.
Please take to Copenhagen to Watch FC Copenhagen
Sam, you missed your Scottish Team taking an absolute beating from Celtic yesterday...
The guy just likes watching European football so no much point in following your mob. Well after November anyway 😀
Dortmund are my German team
Trains are always late st least a few min usually between 3-10 min 😅😂
Feyenoord - BVB 3-2, Van Hooijdonk Cup 2002.

Scheiße BVB scheiße BVB scheiße scheiße scheiße BVB 💙🤍⚒
Irish Borussia Dortmund fan here and funnily enough I went from Ireland to Brussels onto Cologne and then Dortmund for a day to do a tour of the stadium, was unreal to finally do can't wait to see a game! Was buzzing to watch this great job!
Another big Irish Borussen here! Been to games at home and away to Rangers even 😂 I bring my BVB x Ireland 🇮🇪 tricolour everywhere!
Where you from in Ireland!?
Another Irish fan here ,Dortmund my team since Lambert was there , will go one day soon
International Fan as well English.
Got Membership but not been to a match or Stadium Tour just yet but maybe next season maybe
Best stadium, but worst enemy (Hoppenheim has no tradition, only money). Poor enemy.
The worst opponent would be RB Leipzig, however Hoffenheim aren't much better, that's true
Nur die TSG💙🤍
@@TSGPhilipp your team goes against everything german football stands for
@@allaindb1944 What does german football stand for?
@@TSGPhilipp i'm talking about 50+1 rule but with your club you start turning it in the premier league
Looked amazing Sam. I was in Germany a few years ago unfortuntely didn’t get to a football game but did attend an ice hockey game in Augsburg. Fans were class and like that guy from Kirkcaldy was saying I barely had to put my hand in my pocket for a beer as they kept coming at me with more. Germans are top notch people
Hey! Fellow passionate Leafs fan from Zurich Switzerland here! I'd love to show you some swiss hockey arena atmosphere in and around Zurich (3 top tier teams in ther region)! Unfortunately, the beer here isn't as good as in Germany. Nonetheless, my beerleague lads and I usually make sure that the beers keep coming.
@@Turicum My local team the Belfast Giants are currently in Switzerland at the moment and play Davos in the Champions Hockey League tonight. Would’ve loved to have got over to see that unique arena but couldn’t get the time off work. I’m assuming you’re a Zurich Lions fan?? If so i’m sure it was pretty awesome to have Auston Matthews play in that roster before being drafted by the Leafs
In other news Celtic smashed Sevco FC in the Pub League
Rings like a Gay porn plot: Sir Sev Coe gets g******** by Celtic footy team.

@@josephyearwood1179 clearly you are aman of experience....
“Sevco” have been in more European games than Celtic have in the last decade fun fact
@@ЖакПутин fun fact : Celtic won the European Cup the rangers died trying to emulate them.
Hi Sam, I doubt many people watch your channel for the actual football. You captured the build-up to the game and the atmosphere very well. I hope you can cover more German games in the future.
How much to see a Bundesliga game this season? Sam, you might have not realised this but you seem to have started a challenge for yourself, to go to a domestic league game in every European league
I bought mine at 20 euros.
Lived in Dortmund for 2 years from 1998 in a street apartment 15mins walk from the Westfalenstadion. Seeing the Hauptbahnhof reminded me so much of those times and the short walk from there to Limericks Irish bar (If it's still there) up the steps to the right!!
Dortmund local here. The Limericks sadly closed about 10 years ago.
What a brilliant video Sam that's also on my bucket list.
My best ever matchday experience, been there twice, 2016 and 2018, against Gladbach and the 2nd game against Schalke...
I’m a Brit living in Germany and honestly Deutsche Bahn is by far the worst train service in Europe it’s actually a joke. I’ve honestly hardly ever been on a train that’s on time.
nope trains are always late in germany
Such a friendly bunch the dortmund fans, I went to leverkusen vs dortmund a few years ago, tickets were in the leverkusen end so was expecting to be cheering for them, but in the ground i was surrounded by dortmund fans, got talking to them, ended up celebrating the dortmund goals with them
Ten years ago I went to see the Dortmund vs Schalke derby. I remember being outside that train station very hungover having drunk way too much Gluhwein the previous day/ evening at the Köln Weihnachtsmarkt. Not even the Currywurst could save me.
Great atmosphere at the game, and the yellow wall is impressive, though I could have done without the riot police and smoke grenades.
Those fans really don’t like each other. I distinctly remember the BVB fans singing “Scheisse, Nul Vier”!
My favourite German club is Borussia Dortmund 100%
So so true about the fans in Germany , They don’t let you buy a beer! Best fans in the world
Can you please go back to Belgium and watch a game of Royal Antwerp and tell us about their history
Drunk Sam is funny to watch 😂 safe travels home mate 👍🏼
its funny, because there was any atmosphere...against the commercial, artificial or small clubs like Hoffenheim, Augsburg aso, the atmosphere isnt the best, since (not only) Dortmund fans mostly hate artificial clubs like Leipzig, Hoffenheim aso
Amazing video, could you help me to find some good website to buy tickets to Dortmund game, I’m planing to go there on may
next Schalke 04 please !!!!!💙
Get it Round U last season...
Borussia Dortmund 2-4 Rangers 🤣🤣🖕🏻🤪🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
You are hammered Sam. Haha love it! 😂 🍻 🇩🇪
It is really amazing in this splendid stadium 🖤💛
I remember when Dortmund would lose 10-0, in those days the support would fit in a yellow NY taxi, yellow wall lol Schalke 04 all the way.
Stop being a clown Schalke are shit
Dortmunder Kronen....i think you choosed the Best Dortmunder Beer :D
Great video! BVB forever! 🖤💛
Meets couple in dortmund shirts “do you support Dortmund?” 👁👄👁
all trains are late.... welcome to germany :D
Yellow wall isa disaster waiting to happen
You should come to North America
ALLE IN GELB ZUM DERBY !!! 💛
Leaving a game early is a sin!!!
Never had a train that wasnt delayed
come to a AIK stockholm match please!
Lambert 97!
Stressful day ??? Your having a laugh get a real job then you will know what stress is
my grandpa used to say: "nooit geschoten is altijd mis" it means if you dont take the opportunity or chances you get you always miss. So if things dont go your way, just think "I tried my best" and grab the next chance!
Ynwa “ outside of Anfield? Away ye go ! Celtic and Dortmund do it MUCH BETTER!
Im assuming you've been to all three, several times to be so confident in your opinion. Right?
Nur die TSG💙🤍
In Scotland watching this with my Dortmund top on
If you ever get the chance, you should go watch Standard Liège against Anderlecht in Liège, they're known for their unrelenting support and have some of the best stadium ambience in Europe. The game itself is notorious in Belgium; it's known as the Belgian classico!
First video i've watched of you man. Really enjoyed it. How much was it for your trip to Dortmund? Been looking to go for years. Been on the stadium tour and enjoyed that a lot. Also what camera do you use for the vlogs?
The international stereotype of German efficiency is a myth from the past and German Rail often sucks.
Another example for German efficiency: Nine years late and far above its original budget, Berlin’s new airport finally opened in 2020.
Let's go BVB !!!
No, the Trains also "Deutsche Bahn" always delays throughout the country, totally normal. Nice work, nice video, greetings from Frankfurt
How do you get tickets to all these games?
General sale on the club's websites :)
Quality vlog as allways Sam....Dortmund twin city to LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS
The whole experience there is one of the top in the world my girlfriends dad has season tickets and after matches I can barley hear due to how loud it is. Everyone should try to experience a game there at least once no matter who you support
Werder Bremen next time please. ... Oh, trains so often late ( by the way😅). Forza SVW
1:33 he is so cute😍😍😍
That’s me😅😂
Dortmund deserved the win for sure. Maybe their best Performance this season and our worst this season
Never leave Dortmund stadium before end of the game again!!!!!
So funny sam , hearing you pissed 😂 great video
Love the videos sam been a subscriber since 10k recon u will hit a million soon 🤞
Next time you'll be here you should try Hövels, by far the best beer from Dortmund
Reus walking past at 3.19 haha

have been there once against Barca in the away stand it was an amazing atmosphere
If anybody asks what´s going wrong with kids of this and the last decade : 7:00
And this is because the signal iduna park is not like it was befor 5 years
After all that bratwurst and beer you must have needed a tam kite at half time 😂

Ah, kirkcaldy of liverpool 👍
Love going to Dortmund!!
Oh lord 7:28 my step brother steps in the scene fkin jerk 😂
Only a hun would see celtic ynwa live and not even mention it.
