I'm a New Yorker and life long Giants fan, but my team was a dumpster fire this season. And not for nothing, it's about time the Lions get a Super Bowl! So for this post season: Go Lions!🦁🏈
How crazy would it be if the Lions faced Kansas City in the SB? It would be the first time two teams faced each other in the First AND Last game of the year.
No matter where we go from here I’m super proud of this team. As a kid growing up in Detroit watching the Lions play with Barry Sanders and going through the 0-16 season to get to this point is just an incredible feeling and I can’t wait to see what we do next. #OnePride

Being the QB that leads the team that turned the Detroit Lions into a winning franchise is so epic and righteous. Goff is just burning his name into NFL history and isn't asking for permission. Good on him and the Lions.
Goff went from a team that lost against the Patriots and was a throwaway in the trade between the Rams and the Lions to a team that is a win from the Super Bowl with Lions fans chanting his name. I can see why he loves it here
those last two calls by AG.... Barnes lines up in the same spot on both plays at the end.... He rushes first down.... then on the last play he drops into coverage and makes the pick. Mayfield didnt expect him to be there.
I know this never happens in the NFL but it would be interesting if instead of Goff kneeling it at the end he hands it to the RB in victory formation and he runs through the line for a TD just to give the hometown fans one last TD this season.
In '57, the Lions came from behind to beat the Niners on their way to destroying Cleveland in the title game. History is repeating itself, Lions vs Niners. Gonna be a claasic!
Its all lining up perfectly to come back and put kansas city back in its place again. With Taylor Swift in attendance this time. Those two teams are making the most hype and most money right now. Thats what their banking on.
Idk I think having the one-two punch of Monty and Gibbs is critical to the success of this team. Monty softens 'em up and then Gibbs feasts. Don't want this guy to get hurt. There's a reason both backs are healthy right now.
Geoff career has got a second life...He playing like his old self..when he took the rams to the superbowl...I had him dead in the water sleeping with the fishes 😂. CONGRATS TO THE FANS OF DETROIT. 🤘
The whole NFL season we have listened to how great San Francisco, Philadelphia and Dallas are. Yet here we are. Hey 49ers, there is a pride of Lions on your front porch. They are hungry and p**sed off and they want to have a 60 min talk with you.
Yep, Lions took the 2nd knee with 16 seconds on the play clock. Bowles not calling timeout after 1st knee showed he conceded the game. Would have had 10-12 seconds or so if he would have called a timeout. Lions would have had to burn 5-6 seconds each of the last 2 snaps to make up the difference if he called timeout on the 1st snap. Totally doable. @@marksanders5329
This is the craziest thing I've ever seen in football. I don't know what's dumber. The Lions snap it early or the Bucs not using the last timeout to try to win the game.
If the Bucs called Timeout the lions would have had called timeout with 0:07 left in the game on fourth down. Then kicked a field goal. The game was over.
What? Are you smoking meth? It would have been around 30 seconds left and they had to make a 47 yard field goal . The coach should be fired.@@Mountaineer3615

Either their last drive was great sportsmanship or terrible time management, but the Bucs could have called a timeout when Goff kneeled the ball with 35 seconds left with 4th and 12.
It had to be sportsmanship. The Bucs had 1 timeout left during that entire series. The Lions didn't even dwindle the play clock down to close to zero before taking a knee on each snap. One timeout was not going to cut it. If the Bucs had conceded then called a timeout at the last kneel down, we'd be having a different conversation.
8:01 - 8:15 Can anyone help me find the full soundtrack NBC uses here? I know there's a longer version of it, and it's so hype, I'd love to hear the whole thing. It's so epic and perfect for a nailbiter finale.
A bit sketchy how that game ended with a kneel down with 36 seconds left on the clock, the Bucs having a timeout, and fourth down coming. And also that the lions took that third down snap so quickly with time left on their play clock like they knew the Bucs wouldn’t call the time out.
I have no idea what was going on there. The offense should never hike the ball until there's 1 second on the play clock. Ever. It's not like they get to leave before 00:00 anyway. And why did Bowles not call his last timeout with ~35 seconds left? That's inexcusable for a head coach. He just gave up. Even if there's just a tiny chance to tie it up, there's still a chance. Look at what the Chiefs did last year with 13 seconds.
