    Cheers Gary, this is currently a stash member so I now know what I've got. Definitely needs a canopy mask set.
    Thank you as always.

    Wahey, a full crew complement! Looks really nice Gary :) Ironic that the Luftwaffe called it Zerstorer - Destroyer - as it was often the one /being/ destroyed not /doing/ the destroying in the Battle of Britain.

    Nice kit but those panel lines are absolutely gigantic!

    The Bf 110 is a plane that always builds as a good looking kit, I mean this plane looks always good as a model whatever the scale . The avro Anson turns also in a very good looking model . Sometimes even the ugly planes with designs of the thirties for instance make beautiful models but the bf 110 was good looking in real life and with all the camo schemes possible from désert to snow its a must do kit for every modeler.

    The pilot looks more like they are modern day fighter pilots with helmets on.

      Yes, I thought they looked like bone domes.

    Gary are you Psychic? Every time I watch one of your videos it’s a kit I’ve just bought! Not complaining mind as I get to see it before I open mine!

    Awesome Gary, I'll be keeping an eye on the build to see if I can learn some of your kit building tricks.

    Hi Gary. Looks like a neat little kit. Should be a fun build.
    I do like the desert scheme on the Bf110. Look forward to the result.
    Cheers Matt 🦘

    Interesting that the side of the box with the aircraft history and 2 paint schemes seems to be printed upside down!!!😊😊😊😊😊

    Great review Gary, Thanks. I don't have a 110 in the stash, looks like that be a good choice.

    Very interesting kit Gary, I have built an Eduard 110 and have a second in the stash. I remember it being fiddly but rewarding. It might be nice to build the Airfix one for a comparison.
    I notice that some people have commented that it is a nice looking aircraft, but if I am honest I can't work out if it is a good looking aircraft or not. Its one that, for me, only looks right from a few angles. Maybe it is a Luftwaffe experiment with ersatz marmite. But each to their own as they say. Thanks for the video and the review.

    Schaut ja recht Nett aus aber wenn ich eine Me 110 C oder E haben mőchte in 1/72 dann nehme ich die Weekendedition oder das Profipack von Eduard Bessere Teile Mehr Decal Optionen masken etc...Liebe Grűsse aus Wien❤😊

      Auch der Preis ist ähnlich, vielleicht hole ich mir eins zum Vergleichen. Aber ich hatte jede Menge Bonuspunkte, die ich bei Airfix einlösen konnte...! Ich werde nächstes Jahr kurz nach Wien kommen und auf der wunderschönen blauen Donau kreuzen... Liebe Grüße aus London!

    Why is nobody using brush painting any more like in the good old days??? Why buying equip for 400€ only to paint a model kit??? In addition kits,even the simple ones are insanely expensive nowadays.

    • @garys_stuff
      @garys_stuff  День тому +1

      My first airbrush and compressor set cost about €100, there are types of camouflage I'm not clever enough to paint just with a brush! But there are plenty of really good model makers around who only ever paint with traditional brushes.

    • @johnnoble01
      @johnnoble01 День тому +1

      I had the first release of this kit and although i have a number of airbrushes, i decided to hand paint as the panel lines are a bit wide. Under a coat of paint they look fine without any panel wash. The decals from the first release were horrible as they weren't Cartograph and resisted all forms of decal softeners.

      @@garys_stuff i remember the times, when model magazines showed how to create stunning metal surfaces with alufoil. You had to be creative, find materials, invent techniques. Tpday : Buy. Wonderful results without all those super dooper adf ons. In those times no modeler showed wounded or dead. IMO modern times get more and more empty. How much is thr me 110 today? 16€? Now ad colours, masking matetial...modelling is going the same wrong way like model trains. Back to the roots! It should be fun and not another task
