The F1A4 and the SD2200D are simply amazing, they run so smooth in miniralized soils ...... For real ...... The SD2200D runs really nice with a Woody mod and a Doc's nugget booster amp ......
think the coil size make that dif ,i have a modifide one i have 14 inch and 6 inch monos few cheepys too i not tested on good grounds yet but it handels over head power lines ok at chaple hill hope to get to vic for real test later this year
After having a play with an SD2000 on the beach yesterday, I think the old F1A4 would also double as a nice beach machine, as long as you don't get it wet haha.
@@diggingwithphasetech yer cool i been testing it on beach works ok with smaller coils meaning not use my 25 inch.cheap 1 came with it sef detech butter fly coil looks like it made for beach
+J Dean The F1A4 was made for the military de-mining market, but is a motion based pulse induction machine sort of like a hybrid of an SD2100 and SD2200D which were top-end gold prospecting units in their day. The F1A4 has a nice sharp signal response so is perfectly capable of pinging gold. But generally for the money I'd recommend someone getting a GP series unit these days.
How do you get your 5000 so quite, my is so noisy compered to yours. After watching this I am doing something wrong 100%. I have done a training day, but this confirms that my machine is set up wrong or something. GL and HH
Tanker 333 Send me an email with a list of what settings you're running, and maybe I can help. You can find my contact details at: phasetechnical.com.au
Thanks for trying to help out, but the machine was faulty. So hopefully I can get it running smooth, I'll be heading Friday on private property and see what happens. If not I'll send you an email.GL and HH. Cheers Daniel

Small mono's and mid sized DD's both work, or you go for a Salt/Anti Interference coil
Wish you had have run the SDC over it as well.
