Mike, you do a great job, although I hesitate calling it a job, because it is quite obvious you enjoy doing this, so that can't possibly be a job :-). I love that you are committed to sharing your experiences and take the time to do that. I hope to be enjoying myself as an expat in retirement in the Philippines within the next 18 months, possibly sooner. I have missed viewing your past few episodes, so I will have to go back and catch up with you.

Very nice as usual Mike, the scenery at the top of Iloilo province is really nice, just a quick question, when in Iloilo city what internet do you have, Globe or PLDT?.......cheers Ian
It is a known information, that half of the recorded log production of the Philippines trees went to japan, they also smuggled the trees that harvested by illegal loggers during the 1960 and 1970, while they carefully managed and maintain their own forests.
Burning the wood for cooking the meals of the poor Filipinos isn't the only reason for the deforestation in the Philippines.
Thanks again Mike, enjoy your new beautiful home away from home!
Yep, and in Columbia and the freaking government paid to build the logging roads. I recall this from reading Nature Conservacy magazine back in 1989,around the time of the exon valdez incident.
WOw im proud to be a estancihaoon
Wow: So beautiful. That bridge to get out from the boat is a bit scary !!! By the way i told you that your camera had some problems in sunny days but i have to tell you that your camera works perfectly in cloudy days, excellent colours.
That is really a beautiful area Mike. I envy you with all your travels. I have taken a couple rides on those smaller ferries, banca boats, I think. They pack them in and add some livestock as well. LOL. Makes the trip interesting.
Remember reading about Phillipine deforestation of jungle in the 70s from my favorite magazine, National Geographics...
100ppl safely on pontoon boat, amazing fun on the top deck long as don't get sunburned. ..🌞
Deforestation with a growing population, than add a typhoon or two is not a good combination for the future, I'm sure we all know that... It's a similar problem up in Chiang Mai known as smokey season February, March.
At least it's not plastic burning..
Interesting video Mike. Its a shame about the smoke in such a beautiful place ; a necessary evil I suppose ? Loved that Christmas tree. And, you are also very knowledgeable about boats /shipping. I like being by the sea /harbours /ports etc.thanks
I miss my hometown. 3:50 sec is a very familiar spot for me. Our home is just about 200 meters away which is in front of the State College. I hope you enjoyed your stay there. The port of Estancia is your gateway to Gigantes Island, Sicogon Island, Masbate, Bantayan, etc.
Thank you Mr. Mike. Another super job with production and filming as you continue to show the world how lives are being changed by the very organized efforts of Medical Missions
Look nice to me, I was wondering how much would it cost to buy a boat like the one you are showing
Mr Mike really important to eating seafood in Philippines and beer in nyt time really I'm happy about your video I miss Philippines life take care

you really need to wear a cap and lotion on your skin to protect you from the sun, their sun is very hot, and your face was very red.
