How to repair a wet Xiaomi? In today's video we have a device with water inside, it is a water damage device and we are going to repair it.

On some occasion to repair Xiaomi devices due to humidity we have to remove the shields. There are many ways of doing it. In this class we will be removing sheet metal using a Dremel.

Great work! One question: why you are cutting shield, instead of desoldering it out? And what are you putting on the place of cutted of shield? It seems to me, the shield provides some kind of radiation protection, not just mechanical

The shield spreads the heat evenly. That's it. And oh it is connected to ground. It just protects the and components

Unfortunately the phone that has Come in contact with salt water is not fixable due to rust. Also that might have shorted out the components and fried an IC making it irripairable

Sir my phone fell on water 3 days ago and then when I turn it on , it only vibrates but the screen is black.. I tried to take it to a fixing center they said motherboard damage. I just find it hard to believe them cos the phone is working the screen is black
