Someone else could sing this note-for-note but you'd feel nothing while here I can feel Mr. Bayley's very soul.

Then I remembered that Blaze had his surgery too less than a year ago. I loved him in Maiden and his post Maiden stuff has been amazing.
This song is better than anything on that or the last ponderous Maiden snoozefest. They’ve forgotten how to write good metal songs and everything has to be an absurd nine minute “epic” with three guitar solos and a clicky clacky bass interlude.
My grandfather had bypass surgery at 62 after one hospital declared him a lost cause and wouldn't perform the surgery. He survived another 32 YEARS after that. He flat refused to die.
