I love Limahl. I like his personality. His voice is wonderful.
Kajagoogoo is a very great group.
Love the band, love the singer.
A Nice interview. That Limahl looks great and seems like a genuine nice guy. I wish he and the band the best of luck!
He is a really nice guy.
I'm glad the band got back together even if it took 25 years. Always enjoy hearing their songs on the radio from time to time
Love Limahl! He's so lovely 😺💘💞💖💕💓💗 X
80's had the best music.
met him in 1999 in gran canaria, when i was working at paradise lost. saw his performance as well on stage.
He has appeal an' is one fine bloke if you ask me. It's nice to know he's loved. Canada here fell in love with him in 1984, as we did alot of great commercial Brit pop and New Wave.
This is my favorite interview with one of my favorite singers of my all time favorite song. "Never Ending Story" The movie was so amazing. I love to let children watch it and get away from their real life for a little while. The song is something that keeps us all remembering what we saw in fantasia. TY from all of us Limahl. Your voice made that song too.
Love lamahl and his hair!!
Loved the clip, thanx 4 posting! Had a laugh!
Hilarious! Limahl is such a charming, funny guy. And I still love the song. Hubby and I heard it on the radio by surprise and stopped everything to listen, and then to sing along.
I got rid of one vulgar comment. This man is very sweet.
who else likes Limahl's songs like my comment
limahl have a great singing voice the band was wrong to sack him. They could have gone to the top .love him to pieces. miss him
Melanie Coe It seemed like Kaja got more than they bargained for with Limahl and were kind of spooked by their success. In retrospect, I believe Limahl just wasn’t meant to last with them. He fared better on his own music-wise and Kaja made fairly interesting music without him. I loved all their music with them together and split up.
I love him !!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to see them reunite and perform in South Africa .
LOVE YOU LIMAHL
Limahl is so smart !
Why they are talking about his hair and laughing? His hair was great & cool! He looked great! And today Chris also could wear the same hairstyle.
cuute guy.... nice.
Limahl on t'aime !
respeto x favor!! Limahl es unico!!!
I love your song limahi You are a good singer ❤ ♥ 💕 💗 💖 💙 ❤
Limahl ❤😍🥰🌹
Loved this. Great clip!
Limahl jest fajny! Moja młodość
Nice man
HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@christschool You are wrong on so many levels. Nick Beggs is one of the great prog rock bass players and highly respected. Kajagoogoo formed in 79 and wasn't signed by EMI until 82. Neverending Story was NOT a Kajagoogoo song, it was a solo release from Limahl after he left the band (which he did not write). Too Shy WAS written by Kajagoogoo as anyone with the single/ greatest hits or even the internet can tell you. So sit down and be quiet or at least consult google before you post trash.
@theakstonsrock Also, KJ wasn't classified as a progressive band, that nomenclature didn't come into common use until the 90's. They were marketed as a New Romantic band. Also, most corporate bands begin before being signed and marketed. As the quote from Limahl below indicates, which I posted, he admits that the band was a corporate creation and heavily marketed. The band sabotaged their support from EMI in just under a year when they made a decision to move on without Limahl.
@christschool you can post links, they just aren't clickable. So far you have come no closer to verify your claim that Kajagoogoo didn't write Too Shy. I am not disputing Rhodes produced the track or that the lable marketed them. That's a given, every band is promoted. Faulty google searches? Please inform me how Google is malfunctioning to omit only the results crediting the true author of Too Shy. That's some mighty big conspiracy going on there!
Still doesnt look that bad but then was a handsome fella
@theakstonsrock by the way, do you know what it means to produce an album or song? When someone is a producer of a song/album, are you aware of what it is that the producer does?
Too shy and neverending story great songs!!!
The creators/inventors of techno are now in their 50's....
who is the red haired woman??
@theakstonsrock Your entitled to your opinions, but not the facts. Too Shy was a stock song given to Kajagoogoo. It may say they wrote it but they didn't. How do I know? I worked for EMI. They were signed specifically for the reason to duplicate Duran Duran's commercial success following the UK release of Rio.
Perhaps you should sit down and learn a few things outside of Google searches.
@LenaDelovely He did say he had botox done :)
hola me gustaria que subtitularan en espaniol los videos... mi ingles es bueno pero se me escapan algunas cosas y es algo molesto... espero que tomen en cuanta mi pedido SALUDOS DE ARGENTINA
i could say limahl the teenager! mdr! he never grow up...some one have to telling him ..
Really good video. He is just as hot now as he was then!
@christschool "I'm sure this promotional coup must have helped fuel the marketing and promotion budgets of EMI because let's face it, in the big bad world, to get a product out to the masses, the clout of such a big corporate machine is fairly critical......and so now the stage was set for 'Kajagoogoo' to be lauched on to the world music stage." - Limahl
@theakstonsrock That's not a link, but I get your point.
Here you go. Limahl dot com.
@theakstonsrock Nick Rhode's was responsible for this band. Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes was brought in to the studio to produce the single along with Duran Duran's producer at the time Colin Thurston. Much like some of Prince's understudies, Nick Rhodes shaped this band, gave them their "sound" and produced their only real hit. It was a corporate band. Nick Rhodes got them their contract with EMI. It wasn't the "power" of their music, it was Nick Rhode's influence.
what a great guy let the past stay in the past and i think 4 guys had to eat a little crow. lol
traduccionnnn español
@christschool I see, so there are two sets of history here: The widely documented and reported one, of a band formed several years before being signed, who are credited on the release itself and then the "real" history, as reported only by a single anonymous troll on the internet who, conveniently, works for EMI and tells us a truth which we have no way to verify. Simply put, I do not believe what you are saying. If you post links to proof, I will. Will I just take your word for it? Ofcourse not
@theakstonsrock no, you can't post links unless something is changed recently.
The only one claiming a conspiracy here is you.
Try posting a link here.
What a rude host, making fun of Limahl's hair. It was and it is his distinctive mark. Dying it was very brave from him
@theakstonsrock No, there is your faulty google searches and the truth. There is no alternative truth. If you know how to search, you'll find support for what I wrote and I don't continue to work for EMI. As I wrote, I "worked" for EMI, which is past tense. Perhaps this is your problem. You don't know how to read. I'd post you links, but UA-cam doesn't allow links in comments. I also worked with bands like Talk Talk, The Go-Go's, The Waitresses and many others.
whos that untalented host? painful at best, limahl handled himself well
5:05 "not funny bitch" XD
Anne Diamond looks pretty hot here :)
