  • I am trying something new with this painting. I’ve seen loads of these videos on painting super easy galaxy scenes and thought I’d give it a try. But put a little bit of my own twist on it. This painting is up for sale if you’d like to own it. Comment , email or message for more details

You nailed the sky! It just came together so nice. I would probably have given up earlier but when you put in the stars end the small edges - looked amazing!

    Hi Studio Wildlife
I just found your UA-cam channel today and have to say thank you for sharing so many hints and tips.
I'm slowly working my way back through all your videos and learning so much. Your work is amazing and I hope to some day be somewhere close to producing the same quality.
    Kindest regards
    Linda

Love how the sky came out, just wondering have you tried using a large make up brush dry for softening edges? Have seen it done but not tried myself, havent painted with acrylics and oils for a long time, really inspired me to get back to them @stusio wildlife

I’ve never really tried a makeup brush with acrylics, I’ve tried it with oils and it works but I find a fan brush better for blending oils. As for acrylics really the best way to create blended backgrounds is by building it up in thin layers rather than trying to soften the paint together, acrylics just dry too fast 😁
