I didn't look at the checklist for Chrome Update(wasn't planning on buying any), but I can't believe they added the RCs they had in the regular Chrome release in this one as well; outside of releasing the RD cards. Skenes alone would drive this product, they didn't need to include new RCs of the rest that already had a RC release.
Yes, as someone with limited money to blow on cards, it is VERY frustrating that the distribution of good cards is so clumped together. I seem to mostly get dud boxes. I know I buy mostly retail, but still. I have yet to pull a Skenes base RC, but got two of the overprint Paw Patrol Judge cards.
Love these to show us the products. Chrome update is more bust than boom. Hasn't hit my area yet. I'll probably stick with regular update. Hangers and hopefully fanatics restocks. Finally got mine from the affiliate link after being lost for a few days along the way. Both that I got were 🔥. Bryce Harper red black gold to 10. Tony gwynn black autumn tales to 299, very undervalued card, high up in my PC.

Oh well, the Topps Chrome Update just had one good day at the plate today, I bet they won't beat the regular Topps Update. Good thing I don't bet because I had the Chrome Update losing 😂😂😂
@westernnycards By the way, I’m debating whether to get the 2024 Topps Baseball Holiday Mega Box (it’s the only version available here in Europe). I know it’s affordable, but is it really worth it? In the meantime, I’m waiting for the 2024 Topps Stadium Club Baseball Hobby Box and the 2024 Topps Updates Baseball Hobby Jumbo Box. Can’t wait to rip into those myself! 😃👍
It’s worth it as long as your expectations are to have a little fun. It’s a cheap rip, cards hold value for only a few months till after release really. But can’t beat a guaranteed hit for 25 bucks! And the short prints are fun!

I've opened 1 box of these and I pulled the Colt Kieth and the Skeenes debut back to back too..
I actually pulled a Diamond Dominance Jasson Dominguez and a /299 Mason Miller Auto from the same mega box of Topps chrome update.
