Back in 85 I played bass in a Norwegian band and we did a "Nordic youth competition" gig in Copenhagen. There was a fantastic Icelandic band there called "The Voice". I always wondered what happened to them.
This is incredible, amazing - hard to beleive she was into music already in the early 80's, and already so talented - this is the magic of youtube, a real time machine, just amazing - she's is also the reason why so many bands fron Iceland became famous after, they own her a lot

+Stephanie grant The film came out in April 1982. Björk was born in November 1965. She was 16 when it came out and it was filmed in the fall so she may have just turned 16 or was about to turn 16.

Back in 85 I played bass in a Norwegian band and we did a "Nordic youth competition" gig in Copenhagen. There was a fantastic Icelandic band there called "The Voice". I always wondered what happened to them.

Wow, she had real stage presence even as a kid.
Don't get me wrong, all the musicians in the video are very creative, talented, and have a great stage presence, but in the first "Ooh-Ooh" she already stole the whole show... when she opens her mouth to give the first high notes , you never forget and know how special she is...since she was a little girl...I don't believe in a "divine gift", because I know how hard she worked and everything she refined in herself until she got to where she is, but It seems like she was born a mature artist with total mastery of art
