I've been looking for a lag fix with the Xemu emulator myself recently but I don't have Nvidia. I found a solution for those with AMD display card, it worked for me at least. If the PC(Windows 11) you're using is hooked up via HDMI: -Open your settings on your CPU. -Click Display. -Scroll down and you may see "Use HDR" Turn that on. -Keep scrolling down until you see a tab that says "Advanced Display". Click that. -Scroll down until you see "Choose a refresh rate". The default rate maybe too low. I changed it to 60Hz and right after changed the setting, lag immediately stopped instantly. Hope this helps anyone still having issues.
that is not the problem or the fix, folk are saying that the version of xemu was running full speed driving games years backn now they all run slow, sega gt-project gotham etc. SOMEONE MUST KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING
Actually worked, thanks man. At first, the boot screen wasnt even playing smoothly. Now games are running pretty well, definitely playable. Even made my other emulators (e.g. PS1) run better. When I first got back into emulation I spent hours doing research and messing with windows, nvidia, intel, etc settings to try to get things to run. Well this video worked better than all that
Went from 30-40 fps in Timesplitters Future Perfect during combat to a locked 60 with my 3080. This was very helpful. I'll have to go through the changes one by one to see if there was one setting that made the difference or if all the settings helped a little. Thanks!
Thanks, for me it was the Threaded Optimization that I needed to turn off, nothing else mattered. I started using Xemu last November and it was fine and when I booted it up again today performance was terrible, even though I never changed the Threaded Optimization before
can't believe this actually worked i was getting like maybe 10 to almost barely any FPS in spider man 2 and now i'm getting up to 53 FPS with the resolution at 2x

I think it may be the optimization of rendering better graphics or right graphics over fps
