History of the Veterans March

Marches were held during the First World War and became popular with veterans in the 1920s, to honour lost friends and show comradeship.
This year, veterans will make history by taking the inaugural steps on the brand-new Parade Ground at the Memorial.
Mark your calendars and participate in the Anzac Day RSL ACT Branch Veteran's March, a meaningful recognition of veteran service.
Current and former serving Australian Defence Force, Commonwealth or Allied force veterans, and their relatives are invited to participate.
