Always fun to see Finlayson flustered. Visions of the future are interesting, considering the known technology of the times and how people thought they'd adapt. Lots of small aircraft seems to be the norm in these pictures, but dirigibles? For a couple of other views of the future from early films, try THINGS TO COME (1936), OUR HEAVENLY BODIES (1925), and JUST IMAGINE (1930).
If I do marry, I want my niece to give me away, my brother to do the ceremony( he's an ordained Chaplain), my nephews to be my best men, and my sister in law to play piano.
"looking 100 years into the future. where men are more like women and women more like men"
right on the head of that nail, huh?
Hit the nail on the head, didn't they?
Hal Roach and the Hal Roach studios were the best. Timelessly funny.

Too well done to be a spoff too accurate to be anything else, dern!
Holy cow! This film nailed it! The 2020s, where men are women and women are men!
If I do marry, I want my niece to give me away, my brother to do the ceremony( he's an ordained Chaplain), my nephews to be my best men, and my sister in law to play piano.
They predicted that perfectly didn't they?
2:22 now that’s 100% accurate
Good Lord, don't give them any ideas!
Interesting, but Finlayson didn't hit his stride until teaming with Laurel and Hardy in '27.
I see Stan Laurel is credited as one of the writers of the film.
Ngon va tien.^ !
