I appreciate your consideration and compassion for La Sserafim at Coachella. I honestly don’t know much about them, but I thought people were unnecessarily harsh towards them. It is not nice when people jump on a hate train. I watched a good many of the acts both weekends and LS were pretty much on par with a lot of groups. I do think the mix wasn’t great on weekend 1 which compounded the vocal issues to make it seem worse. I definitely saw way worse. As an Ateez fan, I’ve seen a lot of people comparing them to Ateez, but although they are both ‘K-pop’, it is like comparing apples and oranges. They are just too different. Also, Ateez is seasoned with performing in harsh environments because of their world tours (like elevation issues in South America, stadium performances, and outdoor performances in the rain and wind) and that is something a lot of K-pop groups don’t experience. Not necessarily LS since I don’t know much about them, but groups in general.
The AR did helped a lot for their weekend 2 assisting their vocals but I still say they improved on week 2. It was more enjoyable than week end 1. Its not just Coachella but If you watch their encore live stages standing still with no choreography on multiple stages in korea, they were still struggling and are really weak in vocals; this has happened many times before . that fact is 100% true but either way I still love their music. If you have to judge than Chaewon is probably the one that can decently sing.
Don't blame the environment when other K-pop artists, some of them on the exact same stage, performed at this festival and sounded way better. Those girls lack basic singing technique and if "bad set up" in the form of no autune or low backtrack makes them sound like drunk tennegers at karaoke then they shouldn't be called singers. K-pop used to hold a certain standard but now everything people see is a bunch of tiktok dancers pretending to sing. Koreans were right when they called this stage a national embarrassment.
Its a new song , surprise for fans , Week 2 deserve praise as the gurls worked hard to sound more good , love them .

Where the heck is Saki!
reaction to ateez coachella❤
Yes! We will get to it they were great! Thanks!
The problem wasn't the performance, the problems was their vocals. Performance wise, they were ready, vocal wise, they weren't.
Black pink paved the way for them but they can not sing
