- AMH - Anti mullerian Hormone has long been used to investigate the egg reserve . Is it a test to know about chances of natural conception ? AMH tests are more relevant in the IVF set up. Using AMH to predict low fertility may not be correct .

V good video. I also Convinced naturally with high FSH of 13.30 and low AMH of 0.6 and gone through a healthy pregnancy and now hv a boy.

@@Michiv1 infact it was miracle of God. I try to be positive and change my diet. I cut beverages and caffeine from my diet and add royal jelly suppliment. I also took a fertility treatment but that couldn't be successful and soon after I conceived naturally.

in fact, I think we cannot use only AMH to predict ovarian reserve OR pregnancy, cuz AMH is really unstable and just predict for primordial follicle recruitment , early phase of cyclic recruitment, not the whole process. on top of that, basal FSH, LH E2 and menstruation characteristics, AFC in combination with AMH helps predicting"'current status"

I am 37 and finally got pregnant this February after a year of trying. I had a miscarriage at 10weeks April 1st. I advocated for more blood test and just got a note that said I have high AMH at 8.40. Sir, could you please advice? We have been TTC for more than 2 years. Following are my wife's details. Age 37. AMH 3.9pmol/L. Blood test on Day 2 FSH 12, LH 9, Prolactin 384, TSH 2.2, testosterone 0.5. Day 21 Progesterone was 55. AMH 3.9. These test results are less than 3-4 months old. BMI is 28 kg/m^2. Scan was conducted during last visit but the observations were not shared yet. We are waiting for NHS appointment for over 2 months. Another 2 weeks to meet the consultant.
My sperm tests before 6 months was 169 million per ML, progressive motility 52%, morphology 2% suggesting teratozoospermia of doubtful clincial significance.
Even last month, home ovulation strip test showed positive.
Is there a hope for natural conception? Unsure what is way forward? Could you please give your suggestions? Should we be doing any other tests?
If IVF is the only way, don't know how long we have to wait? We will be applying for NHS fund and we feel lost.
Any doctor should reply this question as he has asked in so much detail

Dr Gudi , your videos are very informative. My AMH is 17 this year, it was 9 last year . I have been diagnosed with PCOS but am not the typical PCOS patient , as in I have a normal bmi of 19 . I have had 2 failed IUIs. As you mentioned in your video that high AMH can take longer to get pregnant . Just wanted to know why that would happen.
that is for high amh with irregular periods . with regular periods the success rates are the same
I’ve been looking everywhere for a study like this. I have low AMH (.7) and FSH is 11. Prior to loosing my tubes I conceived very easily. Great post I really enjoy learning from you! If you have any research on Adenomyosis and fertility I’d love to see/hear you do a video on that.
InBetweenDreams yes very few studies . We use egg banking and followed by treatment of adenomyosis
