Basic is a pretty good word but i love this one. I'm 46 and i feel it fits me perfectly, not too 'youngster' not too 'bossy' like hugo boss no 1 or Armani's old ones.
this cologne lasts more than 5 hours dont know why he is saying ONLY UP TO 5 HRS I did three sprays on me and my sweater after two days you can still smell it. I love this cologne i realy recommend it. I have gotten so many compliments on how good it smells

I blind bought a bottle of Boss Tonic and Hugo Iced from frangranceX and I will keep it quick and simple; Hugo Iced is not the greatest scent that you will ever come across, but it's definitely not a bad blind buy to get! It smells very fresh, minty, and citrusy, with a nice dry down. I sprayed some on myself early in the afternoon, and I could still smell it late in the evening. Not a dress up suit and tie scent, but definitely a nice casual polo shirt and jeans scent 👌
These were two fragrances I was actually thinking about blind buying so I appreciate you posting this!

@ihatemyjob4897 it's like a green tea and mint scent. The mint isn't overwhelming but it's in there.

I haven't tried this, but Hugo was the first ever fragrance I bought back in the 6th grade. It was in the exact same bottle (except see through), exact same cap attached to the bottle and the exact same box. I really liked it back then... it was fresh, clean and masculine.. haven't smelled it since then, but I'm sure if I do it'll bring back a lotta good memories. Great review, Ashton.
Thats weird, i work in a mechanic shop and i could still smell it, even me being stained with diesel and grease you could still pick up the scent from my shirt after 7-8 hrs, even chrome azzaro still smells after my shift
I have loads of summer scents from high end to cheapie. I have to admit this is one of my favourites really nice love the tea note recommended highly and the price is brilliant

Got this as a blind buy in 2024. It's not overpowering but it is very fresh and perfect for the triple digit weather where I live.

I just got this cologne, i have like 30 colognes and yes I agree it's really fresh almost unnoticeable. Perfect for gym like you would say. I don't think I would wear it to go out either. Smells great but it's not a LOUD smell.
I wear it to go to sleep too.
I totally disagree you rewiev this is a wery hidden gym i get 10 hours with this and i have over 100 fragrance in my collection😊
I beg to differ with your review on this GREAT SCENT!!! I would rather pay a reasonable PRICED scent, then an OVER PRICED Tom Ford, or Creed scents that are LUCKY THEY LAST 2 HOURS!
It smells good, whatcha mean standard is simple and simple is best
I like this on a really hot day, it's very similar to Mint & Tonic by Atkinsons but 1/6 of the price at discounters. For me it's a refreshing hot day staple, but if I had to pick between this and BB Unlimited from Hugo Boss's best fresh fragrances, I'd pick BB Unlimited everytime 😁

Ashton, thank you for the honesty and heads up on this particular fragrance. I don't own any Hugo Boss bottles in my collection; however, I happened to sample Hugo Boss Bottled Intense EDP last week and the smell was pretty good. It's woody, spicy, powdery, fruity. I did not buy the bottle as I went another direction and purchased my first Yves Saint Laurent bottle instead. 👌

Gents Scents I bought L'homme Parfum Intense. The scent lasted on my skin very well. People were able to smell me seven hours after application radiating within arm length. It's powerful in smell, silage and longevity at least on me it is. I got a solid 9 hours of overall performance. It was a difficult choice between Parfum Intense or Versace-Dylan Blue. I really liked both scents but I went with my nose with YSL as did seven girls I asked before purchasing.

It's similar to Burberry The Weekend. I like this parfume. It's fresh and not over the top (you don't get headache). For office in the summer.
The scent for me is a lot of lime, some mint and juniper with a light hint of soap.
so after a review from the perfumes in vogue I was going to pass on this one but if I can get it for around 20/30 bucks before the summer I might pick up a bottle, I didn't know this one already hit the discount shelves lol (I guess that's good for my wallet)
Btw Ashton, I'm going to Vegas next month so please do a review (first impressions maybe) on the zara's you got at Chicago please

Excellent review as usual. Sprayed some on at the store and my wife said basically the same as your wife. I've tried about 5-6 Hugo Boss frags over the years and the only one she had a positive reaction to was Boss bottled.

Thanks for the review my friend, after buying a decant that I went looking for what people think of it, I couldn't believe it was a Hugo Boss.
This fragrance did not please me at all, to be honest I found it horrible. It smells like orange mold! I never imagined that Hugo Boss had such a bad perfume. I am relieved to have bought just one decante, if I had bought a bottle, which has a presentation that I like, I would be extremely frustrated.
From the description you give I think they sent you a sample of Hugo Boss Orange by mistake not Iced.

Ufff this one got the kiss of death. Gym bags is where you will find all the basic fragrances or misfit bottles :-). There was a guy at my gym that would always spray Creed MI after working out. It would blend in with the clouds of right guard....

I think it is yeah. It has some similarities to Aventus, it's easy to wear and liked by most.

It's an office scent. Not offensive, but pleasant.
Ten days straight of wearing? Wow! Can never wear a frag for that long period of time with the amount of frag I have. I own the original Hugo Boss Man which I wore to the core back in the days and gives me nostalgia so I kept a bottle in my collection but hasn't worn it in years. Haven't noticed this ice flanker but if I do,I'll sure check it out myself.
