At the 17:08 mark, LINDSEY VANZANDT shoots in for the one-leg takedown and RENA KUBOTA masterfully sprawls and then takes LINDSEY'S back and then it was just a matter of time. LINDSEY won their first fight and now RENA won this fight. A third fight might be interesting.
Man I haven't seen Rena get worked in striking against someone in a loooooong time lol. Rena's experience really showed in this fight. Would've been a better comeback if she got that kimura or did a classic Rena KO, and aside from time I do think it was stopped too early. But a win is a win I guess. She would've won the decision anyway
@@lovefrompraha I see. You mentioned it was stopped early though and I agree. So you think Lindsey's corner should've had more confidence in their fighter before throwing the towel?
@@Li1190 she didn't look incapable of fighting to me. I still think Rena would've won, but she could've gone a bit longer. They just saw her take a beating for a couple seconds and called it.
The first fight was really competitive until the finish, but Rena really went hard in the second and third rounds and outclassed Lindsey. I gotta chalk it up to an experience gap. She knew how to make the adjustments needed.
Vanzandt looks like she trains her entire life just to beat Rena, trying literally everything in the BJJ book to not get her face beat in, shit is hilarious.
Happy for Rena....:) She started letting those hands fly she got Lindsey thinking about defense rathwr than takedowns....
Pretty RENA
Respect to Rena.
LOVE Lindsey VanZandt. She'll be back faster and sharper. She is ever evolving.
9:07 that pivot off the left hook made vanzandt shoot at air. beautiful
Rena got her revenge
Giant Japanese woman.
@@iamemileo lol I mean... She weighs like 110lbs so...
Trilogy NEEDS to happen

Seems like both of em had home field advantage. Really evenly matched fighters. Rena has obviously a size advantage here.
wasnt much of a size adv when Vanzant choked her out and everyone said Rena would lose the rematch

It was a corner stoppage, not a referee stoppage
@@Li1190 I said stopped. I didn't say anything about what kind

Love this part 16:35 very much 😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥Rena destroys her soft tummy by her hard punches

It should be against the rules for coaches to walk fighters through the fight during the rounds.
Rena has no TDD
She came from shoot boxing
Mala estrategia de Lindsey , ella sabe lo fácil que es derrotar a Rena, se la regalo .
Poor Lindsey went downhill after this loss. Her career is over.
