Its been a little over a year since you posted this video so I'd like to ask for an update of how they're performing and your current thoughts on the boneshakers. These require serious research as they are quite expensive.Thanks in advance!
Clean looking bike man. Like the floor boards. I dig the black and white look too. How do those pipes sound on decel? Any funny blatty sound? Got V&H on mine and not too impressed with the sound.
Jeremy Padilla thank you... as far as decel there isn't much poping or odd noises it sounds good and not like total garbage... but I'm sure that the tuning plays a large part in that more than the pipes do
Potter 1017 I'm sure your right about the tuning. I used the screamin eagle one and it worked, but it's definitely not the best. Either way I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the boneshakers and seek better tuning possibly a cam upgrade. Ride safe man!
These are the best sounding pipes out there.... I just put a set on my 08 Road Glide.... CFRs don't have nothing on them, I had a set b4 I got these.... Video isn't giving the pipes the true sound... Great pipes and Steve the owner and builder of these pipes is a cool dude.... Thanks
that has to have a cam in it, because you have to have a cam in it to get the sound that it has a cam in it. there is'nt any pipe and or mufflers alone that's going to give it cam sound.
What was your decision to go with those headpipes over everything else , besides wanting true duals ? The boneshakers are on my list but i haven't decided on headpipes yet so I'm looking for everyones opinion.

I based my decision on a few things.. 1 the way the pipes look , 2 price... these were slightly cheaper (not much.. but still) 3 I do like the choppy sound of the duals, 4 muffler interchangeability these take any muffler from 95 to 16, 5 some other companies make duals but those just were not easy on the eyes to me, 6 (this was probably my biggest reason)is that the front pipe goes to the right side and the rear pipe goes to the left in a sense making them close to equal length (they're not.. but it's close) I know rineheart has a same set up but I like the look of these better, some other companies take the front all the way to the left side and the rear to the right... and to me that just didn't make sense one pipe super long and one super short.... sorry for rambling but I wanted to try and explain what I was thinking
porosity FXDB short answer is yes.... long answer is ... at cruse 60-75 mph 3/4 of the way up it’s fine ... however I do find myself turning it almost all the way up more often lol... might be time for a JM rocker kit soon with speakers in the bag lids ;) to really jam. One guy I ride with has a custom sound system with hertz speakers and super tweeters and I hear his music over mine anyway lol even jamming down the road...
BigOG TT I'm not 100% sure... I would be willing to say if I did the HP added with tuning , air filter, and the exhaust makes up for it. It's not something that I say man this thing is a pig.... still smokes the tire leaving a light...
BigOG TT .... For sure... as the saying goes there's no replacement for displacement. There are quite a few other channels out there doing dyno tests with just about everything and every combination out there. In my personal opinion though I really wouldn't wana go to crazy with engine mods on this motor, unless I was trying to race it or something along those lines, it really does what I want it to do stock. The only thing I may consider would be a cam. I mean this bike is not designed to be fast, but for a small comparison the way this bike sits now keeps up with my buddies 110 CVO road king, he jumps out about 1-2 bike lengths right away but he stays right there all the way up to the "speed limit "
porosity FXDB it all kinda depends on what head pipes you want which will then determine your muffler style but low end $1200... high end would be $1700. I’m going to try and do a video on this with in the next couple of days explaining it a little better... stay tuned

Austin Marsh at the time no ... I think at the time it was like $25-50 cheaper to get the head pipes from amazon... I think I still have a link in the description above and also for me it worked out better to split it up instead of dropping like$1500 all at once
wanna do something really special to the bike...throw in a SE 259 or 57H cams, 110 ported heads and high flow injectors w/an S&S cam plate/TC3 oil pump, 58mm throttle body, n a big TUNE...then you'll get something to scream about outta those exhausts!

Sweet ride man. I have a Steet Glide also. I added the SS 468 cam and SVT Bullies with the Thundermax tuner. It sure shits and gets now

How much did your exhaust run you?? planning on doing it to my 2016 Road King.
lunchbox 507 it was about 600 for head pipes and 700 ish for mufflers

Do you think you would gain more low end torque and horsepower if you did Harley's 114 cubic inch kit

How much are this? I have 2018 street glide I also wanted to be able to hear my music lol

Bobby Meck actually.... yes I did I needed 2 muffler clamps for a 2016 touring to fit the mufflers... other than that no

Your distance estimating is probably about 25 feet off, I'm not sure how its even possible to be that inaccurate.
