The movie was great, Tupac is still selling records to this day. Rest easy Pac!
And he's had his estate taken over by the greedy, lazy ilLAMEinati. That's why they wanted Alefeni dead and have killed or co-opted most of his other close associates like his cousin and body guard. That's why so many celebrities who used to know him like Mickey Rourke and Heather Hunter when asked about him are told to say that they don't want to talk about Tupac. Just like they wanted Bobby Kristina dead so they could single handedly control Whitney's multi million dollar estate. Every time her records are played on those Xfactor singing reality shows, who do you think benefits? Greedy, lazy, untalented, unoriginal lames who would be nothing and have nothing but for the people much superior to them who are the ones in actual fact raking in the money and due respect and attention for their actual gifts.
This movie should've been called Me Against the World
Trunks 未来のトランクス that would fit the movie even more cuz the world was alway against pac
They should have stayed with the original Title: "Tupac"
Trunks 未来のトランクス Oh yeah!!
Trunks 未来のトランクス Nah movie should've just been simply called 'Tupac'.
Trunks 未来のトランクス I was thinking the same thing. It describes his live more.
From The Vampire Diaries to All Eyez On Me.. You've come a loooong way Kat Graham. I'm so proud of you! ❤️

We all gonna cry at the end right
momin ansari only if the movie isn't trash
Alot of reviews said it's trash
why what happens?
He dies in a drive-by shooting, September 7, 1996, which is what the last seen in the trailer shows
(SPOILER ALERT)
I didn't like the ending because the last scene is of him getting shot and the police taking him out of the vehicle. There was no follow-up whatsoever, even though he died in the hospital 5-6 days later in reality. There should have been a scene of his girlfriend finding out he got shot, because in the movie, he chooses to go to the club with Suge, despite his girlfriend being worried about him. It made no sense to create that scene whatsoever, because that's the last time you see her in the movie. There isn't even a scene of her finding out he was shot in the first place. The movie should've had a hospital scene where family and Death Row members visited 2Pac while he was in a coma. I believe there's an interview with Snoop Dogg where he says he visited Pac in the hospital and started talking to him because he felt that he could hear him, even though he was out cold. This should have been in the movie. It would've been more emotional, and in my opinion, way better than just the screen going dark right after he gets capped. That's just my two cents though.
Other than the ending, which was mediocre at best I feel, the movie definitely is worth watching. I enjoyed it, and it gave me insight to how rich but tragic life was for a 90's rapper that just wanted to make a change.
DAMNNMN, THEY GOT EVERYONE!!!! TUPAC, SUGE NIGHT, BIGGIE SMALLZ, AND JADA PINKETT SMITH!!!
Nope... They don't have his best friend Stretch in this movie...

Its sad that his mom didn't get a chance to see the movie come out.
It is also a shame that she didn't live to see him honored in the City of Oakland last year, or to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month. All of these honors came too late.

Asick Killer Don't think you were alive when he passed away.
Jermy Carmichael struck a nerve eh?
Nonga I struck your mom
Asick Killer Not only tupac died. But rap died.
Danai Gurira was outstanding, her portrayal of Afeni was profound and thought-provoking. I am surprised by the lack of mention in reviews. It was through her performance that we really got to understand Tupac the man.
I remember her from black panther and the walking dead
I agree. Powerful performance. Not to take anything away from her tho, many people like me found the movie disappointing, uninspiring and undeserving of Pac's biopic.
"we must not hate those who have done wrong to us for as soon as we hate them we become just like them"

For y'all sorry muthafuckas bashing this movie...he looks like PAC! Shipp Jr going to deliver something special this June! Better than Anthony Mackie playing PAC in biggies biopic lmao
he doesn't look like Pac. There are better choices to play him. Having that said nobody said the film is going to fail because it might not look exactly like him. Its the content and how they deliver the story that counts, as well as the perspective and respect they show whilst doing it.
So calm your titties down.

LeBeautiful hello one of my fans thx for the support
The first time I heard about Tupac I was just a child (8 years old) and was told about his tragic death (3 years prior) and the legacy he left behind. I didn't understand then how much he has accomplished is just 25 years and thought that was a long time to live. Today I AM 25 as I write this and thinking back and knowing the significance of this man and acknowledging everything he has done is just 25 years is astonishing! Thank you Tupac Amaru Shakur. I too will become a legend at my profession and strive for nothing less than great!

This movie was amazing. I like movies that do this. Where it tells the story of where they came from before they where famous enough and when they got famous (8 mile, all eyes on me, etc.) also the ending nearly made me cry. Everything in that scene was perfectly executed to show what happened. Even the music was the perfect choice. It was a real tear jerker and I don't cry easily watching movies.
R.I.P. Tupac
The casting was great. But come on, from what we heard, read and learned about the true Pac, this movie DID NOT do him justice by any stretch of imagination.
You can only name 2 movies .. what are you talkin bout
@Los Rajvosa011 that one is on my list, still have to see it. Might watch it this week

"We must not hate those who have done wrong to us, for as soon as we hate them,we become just like them"
All these comments seem to be focusing on the wrong thing, this movie tells the story of the most influential black figure of the past 2 generations. He was an activist, actor and artist, and would have been bigger than Jay Z & Will Smith combined. Hip hop today is still following the trends that this man created in the mid 90's, he starred along A list celebrities, brought together the bloods and crips, and his family was hunted by the FBI. Hopefully this movie will spark some interest in his story and people will realise he had the potential to change the world.
Bung Muffin dont forget another victim of murder murder un-united states government.

Tupac doesn't even come close to been influential black man. Martin Luther king and Malcolm X make Tupac broke ass shakur look like Kunta Kinta. Will Smith and Jay Z just WTF? WTF!

GTA sa changed my thoughts of (old school) gangster rap
I want that version of ´´All Eyes on me´´, that beat sounds amazing
The movie really didn't live up to the hype; it's rushed and either clumsily or lazily directed, and tries so hard to include every single aspect of 2pac's life rather than finding an angle and main focus. The film also never gives the audience the chance to let the conflicts, environments, and moods get established and sink in since most scenes, events, and conflicts that take place before 1995 last for about 1-2 minutes.
Not to mention that the raps included feel like they are there just to please the audience rather than having a significance for the story, and that's because their background and motivationd aren't explored properly.
StrasbergProtégé Exactly what I said like they just jumped to the next event that happened in Pac's life and to the next without building the scene up leading to how or what happened
StrasbergProtégé agree
You're trippin. Straight Outta Compton was good!
i liked the moment in the movie when you've heard 'Dear Momma' though... that was nicely done
Not to mention they should've used a different Biggie, Gravy lost too much weight. Wtf were EDI Mean and Young Noble old asses playing themselves as 20 and 18 year olds for?! Then the third act was basically "Suge Knight: The Mini Movie".
This better be good. Tupac is a legend. You have to capture his intellect, the two battling sides of revolution, anger and kindness, comedy within him. He was a complicated man expressed through his lyrics, letters and interviews. I already know they won't do him justice as it's impossible but this better be good.
And what u gonna do if its not ill wait
Too bad it sucks and it didn't do him 10% of the justice.
