- An engine oil comes into play to maintain the smooth functioning of the various parts of an engine and to avoid friction between them. This is largely dependent on the thickness or, technically speaking, the viscosity of the motor oil. Different oils have been given gradation according to their viscosity and these gradations have been provided by the ‘Society of Automotive Engineers’ (SAE) who take into consideration various viscosity characteristics.

Guys dont believe on any random youtube videos , rather follow owners and service manual as given by manufacturer.
The SOP varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Stick to manufacturer laid down guidelines.
-Check
This operation must be carried out with the engine cold and following the procedure below
- Place the vehicle on its centre stand and on flat ground.
- Undo cap/dipstick, dry it off with a clean cloth and reinsert it, *screwing down completely*
- Remove the cap/dipstick again and check that the level is between the MIN and MAX reference marks;
top up if necessary.
The MAX level mark indicates a quantity of around 1220 cc of engine oil.
If the check is carried out after the vehicle has been used,
and therefore with a hot engine, the level will be lower; in order to carry out a correct check,
wait at least 10 minutes after the engine has been stopped so as to get the correct level.

Agar pump boy galti se mere bike meh petrol ki jagah diesel daal deta hai toh kya kya steps lena chaiyeh?? Diesel dalne ke baad Bina pata lage rider agar bike start karke kuch dur tak ride kar jaye toh engine ka doosre parts ko kya kya fault hoga??

Ha bhai sahi bola , ye bike wal video me pura dipstick andar dal Diya tha, ab bol rahe. He ki pura andar nhi dal na he dipstick, ek dam wakt badal diya , jasbat badal diya😂

Mei har 6000 km se pehle hi service karatha hu, oil change sirf service ke time pe hi karvatha hu, beech mey kabhi top-up bhi nahi kiya hey. aage mei engine ko kuch problem ho saktha hey?
