Great vid Harriet! Agree that it will take some kind of significant negative event for true regulation/security to be enforced. It feels like the general public are more worried about AI doing the bad thing (Skynet) than people doing bad things to AI. Plus considering the amount of data breaches in recent times (Optus, Medibank, Uber etc) people are starting to get desensitised to data loss. I feel it would have to be a loss of life type event because of compromised AI to really force any type of significant change which is sad to say and I really hope I'm wrong.
Such a good point, I also feel there will definitely need to be a part 2 to this now we're starting to see Trump's executive orders come out and things like Stargate!
