Okay this is the actual last part, the Disney wars...that's probably all I need to say, they're here, they're worse than the EU, but judge for yourself if you just hear it in a summary style...do lmk in what ways you do LIKE the sequels actually
Although the execution of the sequel canon was done poorly, the storyline is better than the EU in the sense that it has more consistency and better world building. Like even when the EU came out as a sequel after ep6 in the 90s-2000s in the form of novels and comics, there were still many fans that absolutely hated it (and the incorporation of the Yuuzhan Vong in Legends was hella cheesy to say the least but I still want to see them incorporated into canon) with even the writer (forgot the name of the author) receiving death threats (who btw was just mourning a close one at that time) over things like Chewbacca’s death
Honestly, Operation Cinder is probably the most logical thing Disney did with Star Wars. I mean, the dark side is all about hatred, so I could definitely see Palpatine torching his own worlds out of anger. George Lucas was inspired by WW2, and little old mustache man had similar ideas about making sure his enemy suffered for their victory.
Yeah agree, I also liked the idea of the Battle of Jakku overall being the Empires last stand but the Rise of the First order and the sequels themselves are unclear for the former and a mess for the latter, thus my frustration with them
Well....yeah.During the final days of WW2,the funny Austrian mustache man literally wanted Germany and it's people destroyed upon realising that his defeat was inevitable. He believed that the German people failed him so they must be destroyed alongside Germany as well.
Operation Cinder was a 3 Phase plan. What most people know about Operation Cinder is it's Phase 1 only, targeting Pro-Imperial worlds so that neither faction can benefit. Phase 2 was the battle of Jakku, a "last ditch" attempt by the Empire to win the war, but instead losing, surrendering the forces to the New Republic, while the real remnants of the Empire retreat into the unknown regions to begin Phase 3. Phase 3 is build up the forces and to form to what would be the First Order.
Hot take: even though I think the EU timeline of post galactic civil war is cooler, the Disney Star Wars timeline is simpler and easier to follow and that’s why i like it more, even if it wasn’t executed that well.
Operation Cinder was one of the worst things Disney did with Star Wars imo. Writing Palpatine/the Empire as comically evil removes the moral ambiguity of warfare. At least the EU had a lot of stories that highlighted a lot of Rebel atrocities and Imperial heroes, which makes people question a little bit more as to which side was better.
Im a bit mixed on it, like considering they wanted to make their own timeline I think it is fine...but yeah it's also kinda dumb in the sense that the imperials just executed it without really questioning it as it really didn't have any purpose behind it. It's not like Palpatine offered like if you do this to the worlds then y will happen...it's is very comical so i'll give you that...like most stories that Disney Lucasfilm has come up with it just lacks any depth. I think they should've just adapted the Thrawn trilogy to live action without even changing anything what do you think about that?
@StickmanAnakin I don’t know about this interpretation of Operation Cinder. I mean, the Empire has kind of always been fanatical if you think about it. I mean, the Empire of Legends keeps building super weapons over and over again which the Rebels have to keep destroying. Not to mention Alderaan. Even if it’s a world that sticks its tongue at the Empire, it’s still a major Core World with a rich culture and no doubt inhabited mostly by humans. And the crew of the Death Star blew it up. Also, I view Operation Cinder as having a side objective of being a culling of sorts. Essentially, this seems to have been the final straw for what we call good Imperials with staying in the Empire. Meanwhile, the type of people who would join the First Order happily carry out this command such as Hask in Battlefront 2, who go on to join the First Order. And as we can tell, the First Order takes everything evil about the Empire and ramps it up like with Starkiller Base wiping out the Hosnian system, hating aliens even more than the Empire, and believing only a military dictatorship can bring order to the galaxy. Not every war can be a sort of morally grey area where both sides have some distinct similarities in tactics and motives. I mean, there’s a reason why with the exception of Neo-Nazis and bigots, the rest of us view Nazi Germany as pure evil even if the Allies turned on each other and kicked off the Cold War. Or why a lot of people remember the American Civil War as the conflict that finally ended slavery in the United States.
People complain that Disney’s continuation of the conflict is worse but like, it makes sense why they went in that direction. A less granular, easier to swallow narrative for a broader audience Plus, a lot of the things people complained about with the sequel era story were things that were already done in legends. Han Solo’s son becoming a sith, Palpatine cloning himself, sith possession, etc. I feel like ending the conflict with the galaxy coming together to triumph over evil makes sense for the big movie finale, atleast it would be more satisfying then the galaxy continuing to be divided and never truly finding peace Plus, the recent shows have been putting more focus on the new republic which I think is a great move considering how underutilized it was in the sequels before it’s supposed destruction
Yes i was made aware of that...i think it happened because i uploaded it with a shitty wifi so for some reason it cut off the last part....well i guess you know how it ends though right?
@StickmanAnakin George Lucas set the original main six Star Wars films and the content he developed and produced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars as canon so this part is not canon with others part and star wars comic
Oh, personal knowledge and the star wars wiki mainly. I've read and watched a lot of star wars content so I know it quite well in general. The things I'm not sure about or don't know I read up.

Hot take: even though I think the EU timeline of post galactic civil war is cooler, the Disney Star Wars timeline is simpler and easier to follow and that’s why i like it more, even if it wasn’t executed that well.

The video ends prematurely
Yes i was made aware of that...i think it happened because i uploaded it with a shitty wifi so for some reason it cut off the last part....well i guess you know how it ends though right?
I'll be honest, when you explain the lore, it's a solid, interesting lore for the most part. Disney just did a poor job of handling it.
Hello there!
KeithsGuest, I was expecting you here ;)
You she re-upload it cause the lasts parts of the video got cut out
I will upload it in a different way. I'll be cutting together the entire star wars saga, then i'll add the ending in there.
Is this part canon on comic ?
I dont quite understand your question...are these wars canon? Yes.
@StickmanAnakin George Lucas set the original main six Star Wars films and the content he developed and produced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars as canon so this part is not canon with others part and star wars comic
Hi
Hello there
How do you come by this information
Like wdym?
@ where do you find all this info over the wars
Oh, personal knowledge and the star wars wiki mainly. I've read and watched a lot of star wars content so I know it quite well in general. The things I'm not sure about or don't know I read up.
