The whole town thought my cousin was in a quarry. They found her car 60 miles away with her blood in the trunk, but no sign of her. I still say all State and National forests should have cadaver dogs go through on a monthly basis, even if they find nothing it's still valuable training. There is a stretch of woods near our State line where they find bodies on a regular basis and it only seems logical to search it.
The way the detectives treated the first victim gives other potential witnesses a sign it's not worth coming forward to help them if she hadn't and just got out of there she would still be alive for them to say stay away from them is not good enough they should have protected her
Agreed that’s why I never snitch it’s true in the game snitches end up in ditches. They should have protected her where were they she was already scared. Where was the witness protection program. That wasn’t worth her life. Poor girl
Really safer..And UNdevelopments the Murdered did not even have voice in minimum AI methodology...I guess some reasons hate this side of Country and Constituents within Earlier Decades and Washington DC Access of Supreme Levels of LAW
Guess that with all the insurance money she had from her previous victims, she could afford a decent lawyer. the majority of people who can't afford a private one aren't so lucky. Plus her being a white, blond female does especially help if she is financially well off...that wouldn't hurt for her defensive. I'm white and blond so initially didn't think of her being a suspect. But then her finances situation started either to drop or him becoming paranoid. In her case it wasn't what made everyone look for a caucasian. It's more a case of him being a police officer and that makes for extra difficult investigation.
A police office should receive no less scrutiny than anyone else. If anything they are more of a suspect and require less evidence to prove their guilty because of their knowledge of evidence and how to hide it.
I wonder about that too. Imagine living in the same area with an ex convict who poisoned her husband. If she could do that to someone she loved, she could do that to anybody. It should be a life sentence w/o parole.

You made Christine wear a wire and she reported back that the guy accused her and threatened her and then you didn’t offer her protection. So you basically didn’t give a crap about her life! So he killed her and you think it’s not your fault! What kind of a world do we live in?!

Yes, they did and told her to "just stay away from him" after sending her in with a recording device. They should of put her in witness protection, but they didn't care and should be held accountable.
Is this justice sentencing someone who killed her husband slowly and extremely painfully? I don’t think so. Maybe her first husband’s death was not an accident also.
I don't think I've seen a channel in 10 years ithat has as many commercials as this one does I like the content but there's way too many commercials I didn't finish the first video.
10 to 20yrs is absolutely disgusting for the horrific way Curly died in agony over a prolonged period she is an evil evil evil psychopath I hope the other prisoners carry out the justice she deserves

10-20 years for slowly killing her husband? And possibly the second one at that? She could be paroled in TEN YEARS? Your criminal justice system is an elaborate joke.
When they base so called forensics on something like hair growth and attempt to make it sound matter of fact it makes me question all of their methods. Like time of death is based upon temperature. That's subjective. Poison is based on hair growth. Also subjective. Fingerprints aren't an exact match. It's only based on 13 markers. That's not an exact science. That's guess work. As in this case because I get the vitamins my hair needs to grow and clean and strip the sulfates from hair it grows much much faster than they claim here. Taking someone's life away when they may be innocent based upon subjective information is more than just wrong and unjust.
Poison isn't "based in hair growth." Poison can be proven through examining hair, because it is deposited into the hair as it grows. The longer someone has been exposed to poison, the longer the section of hair which has poison residue in it. This is repeatable and proven science.
Fingerprints are entirely unique to each individual. The number of "points" tells you how closely the print matches the sample. 13 points are a lot of specific matches. 7 points isn't enough of a match to say "this is a match" in court. It is science, not subjective.
Temperature isn't subjective. It's an empirical measurement where change in environment can be accounted for. Maybe do some research before posting ignorant comments. Though comments like yours are entertaining I must admit. 🙏

Because they did not care.

Right! Like they failed herrr literally 🥺. They should of been on her heels and NOTHING should of happened to her😢.
Cant believe a police officer thought he could get away with murder. Loved all episodes
So very 90s. I recall watching this during summer break as a kid.
I enjoy learning new serious investigation by watching these episodes
How does that greedy wife get such a light sentence for killing her husband in such a horrific way?
Shocking.

I agree 100%
Joann Curly got 10-20 years for slowly torturing her husband to death with thallium? She deserved a much longer sentence in my opinion.
I just don't understand many of these sentences given
The sentence depends on many things. Not just intent, but also local laws which set sentencing guidelines, whether there was plea deal, etc.
I wonder about that too. Imagine living in the same area with an ex convict who poisoned her husband. If she could do that to someone she loved, she could do that to anybody. It should be a life sentence w/o parole.

What I don't understand is why we can't buy rapid test for poisons at the pharmacy. This should be a standard thing.
Agree. If they can produce commercially available tests for covid, surely they could produce tests for poisons.
everything can be a poison.
They shouldn’t have left Christine alone that night!!!

Sometimes it's funny to listen to the narrator gloss over some pretty incompetent (and sometimes even criminal) policework.@@derekbaker777
9 years for manufacturing and selling illegal drugs plus they were paroled too? Dang, criminals in US were (are?) spoiled.
I prefer these UA-cam videos with a REAL HUMAN narrator. The AI bots fake voices range from creepy to ridiculous.
Anthony Call is a great narrator.

She is only sentenced to prison for 10-20 years for murdering her husband by poison?
