I've been watching these Mezzrow videos for a while now, and I SO appreciate that they are available on YT, and for free! It's a great service to musicians and music lovers. But as an audio engineer (and jazz pianist) I wish the streamed sound were better. It would be easy to improve, and not expensive. A simple mixer and a few strategically placed microphones--nothing fancy--could make a big difference. MEZZROW: I'm happy to provide some suggestions, just ask!
The WOO guy is obnoxious. These guys are all wonderful musicians, but every 4 measures doesn't need a WOO interjection. You're not the show WOO guy, the musicians are.
