Are the lenses glass or plastic and do they scratch easily? I love the work you guys are doing by the way.

Hi Irfan! Our lenses are made of polycarbonate, which makes them have a longer duration and resistance to scratches and bumps. If you have any other doubt you can reach out to us through our email info@karunworld.com or our Instagram @karunworld!

I honestly don't think that logging is good for the environment. Why don't recycle it from other sources?

      Hi Vincent!
The wood (oak and coihue) that we use comes from two sources: from a forest of certified sustainable management near to the city of Temuco (Chilean Araucanía) and from a coihue trunk collected from a field near the same city. For the next years we will be working with logs fallen from fields in the Cochamó valley (Los Lagos, Chile). Also, our sunglasses requires a small wood volume, so we need like one or two fallen trees and with that we cover the production of two years.
By the way, our prime product is our sunglasses made from recycled plastic from the oceans of Chilean Patagonia, with the new ECONYL technology to recycle, you can check it in our web site karunworld.com/! :)
I hope this answer has been useful!
