Please be safe. I would love to see a full year around Australia after baby girl is born. Please re-consider going overseas for the rest of the year, especially with baby girl. As a registered nurse and mum of 3 myself babies should wait until 12 months old before going overseas as they need important vaccines over the first 12 months in particular and it's just not worth the risk. I hope you're looking after yourselves. I think travel and seeing other parts of the world is very good and enriches the soul but that being said you need to be cautious. Before my husband and I started having kids we spent our first three years of marriage travelling the world and we went to nearly 30 different countries. It is sad to say but unless absolutely necessary we need to re-consider our need to travel overseas for 2020 and travel to destinations in in own backyard instead and see around Australia. After the fires and now this virus epidemic we need to support businesses here now more than ever and think of community health. Please also make sure you both have your influenza and DTaP booster vaccines and baby girl is fully vaccinated. I cannot stress that enough. ❤
You guys make great videos but 2 things I would add compared to other best travel vloggers: 1) PRICES. You super rarely mention prices of food or lodging. That would so helpful to many watchers. 2) Food tasting: you rarely give full description of the food you eat. It would be awesome if you could spend a minute or so describing flavors like other travel vloggers do. Anyway keep up the great work, thank you!
I lived on Oahu when I was a kid because my dad was in the Military. When people would ask for directions to our church, my parents we tell them to drive down a certain road,” until it rains and turn right.” No one ever got lost. 😂
Fantastic vlog, especially diving with the rays. Beautifully filmed Stephen! That black beach sand looks like you are holding a handful of caviar, Jess.
So listen you 2. This is my 1st time watching you. I can't even express how much joy your vlog has brought me today. I'm 75 and have been in the house so much for the past month. Virus threat. I am so thankful that I ran across your video today. I left my heart in Hawaii 5 1/2 years ago and am dreaming till I get back there again. Your sweetness has made me feel so much better. I so look forward to checking out your other videos. I especially enjoyed the end with the manta rays. God bless you both. Love from Arizona
North end of the island is Kayaking the flumes cut through the lava to water the crops and the south end is the Green Sand Beach. North of Hilo on the East side are absolutely beautiful botanical gardens and farther North are the wild horses in Waipi'o valley! So much more to see! Don't forget also the observatories on top of Mauna Kei!
The Big Island is the best island! Lived in Pahoa for 6 months, kindest people, best markets, food, hiking. I miss it everyday. This video makes me want to go back so bad!
The manta rays part literally made our jaws drop... WOW! So cool. That will be top of our list when we make it to Hawaii. Also a shoutout to the HOLY S&^% moment of Stephen seeing the sea turtle right in front of him. Hilarious.
What an absolute joy! I love traveling with you two... three, now! 💗💗💗 Thank you for bringing us along! (Mantra Ray acknowledging and blessing your Mermaid Girl!!)
Kona is really nice, but I hope you all went over to Hilo. We went to the big island 5 years ago and stay in Hilo and Kona. This island is so beautiful. We were there for 2 weeks and did not want to leave.
Love the tiny bnb house! Not sure I could live in one full-time but I'd give it a shot and downsize one day. Also appreciated the dive shots with sea turtle and manta rays.
Lookout point above and horse back riding down in Waipio Bay. Also the flume out in Hawi/Pololu. It’s the old cane water ducts you lazily ride down in a kayak through tunnels. Speaking of tunnels, need to walk a vent too. Some people have them in their back yard and will take you down. Go up Mauna Kea and see the stars from the top of the world!! (Suggest taking a tour group, the drive is not for rental cars). There are helicopter or airplane tours of the island too. Check out Mountain Thunder coffee farm up Koloko to see how coffee is processed and cooked. We also have vanilla and chocolate (cocao) farms you can visit. There are so many things to do on big island, you can’t see it all in one visit!
I loved where you stayed. Its actually one of my dream vacations to just go somewhere like Hawaii and just stay in that kind of "home". I loved the vlog and the scenery is just amazing as always with Hawaii. And I have one question for you. You two probably have seen most of the planet earth and my question is: what is the best place you think for the ceratin weather conditions? For example, for winter where do you recommend for a holiday? Go for central europe and enjoy the christmas and xmas markets around various countries or go to Russia to feel the badass weather conditions there? There were just simple examples of course and I want hear about your opinions about this. What is your list in this kind of perspective?
I found out your channel when YT recommended me a videos about my homeland, Poland and I stayed ever since. So happy you included Poland among so many GORGEOUS places!! Hawaii looks so special, glad you had great time, because you do an amazing job with those vids!!! Also - you seem like our friends showing us your endless vacations! wow, greetings from Warsaw!
I have always wanted to see that black sand beach. You just made me want to go to the big island even more. Lol loved the continued coconut theme.-Trevor🍻
You guys should definitely got to ‘south point’. Being that it is on the south of Hawai’i island. Not sure if you guys are crazy about jumping spots but The jump is epic! Us locals love it!
You will have to check out the snow. Also the Thurston lava tubes, in the volcano national park, have just been opened up after being closed after a year and a half, being closed.
Epic vlog, thanks you guys! I feel the touch from the ray is a blessing from the Mer people, those beings that exist in the deep. It's a great honor 💞🌹🐋
My husband and I are planning for Hawaii next year. We are so excited but each island is so unique it’s hard to pick where to go for the first trip!!! But what an amazing video! Definitely have me a few ideas :)
I lived in Kona for 4 years. Best time of my life. Kiholo bay was my favorite camping spot. There used to be a natural fresh water pool down there. Unfortunately it’s much busier than it used to be.
You guys should visit lady Elliot island it’s in Australia it’s my favourite place you don’t go there for the food or luxury you go there for the beautiful snorkelling 😍
Oky so I have to admit. I haven't been a subscriber for a long time. But I had a really special adventure to turkey. I traveled like a true local ❤️ I started watching your vlogs of turkey. Since then I am hooked with everything you guys post. My fiance (the guy I met in turkey) is also hooked. We love watching you guys. We are also actually planning to travel the world together, just me and him and we can't wait. Just waiting for him to finish studying and also then I will be moving to turkey 😁 gosh guys. You guys are not just helpful but so inspirational. You guys even helped my mother getting over the fear of turkey 😂 You guys also really show that just because it is bad in your own country doesn't mean the world is bad. There are really good things in other countries. That inspired me the most to start saving up and traveling. So I do have a few requests that I really wish you guys would do. If you guys could go and visit Georgia and definitely Madagascar. That would be awesome. Greetings from South Africa ❤️🇿🇦
So glad to have you on the Big Island....doesnʻt seem like you made it to the lagoon, because if you had, you would have had footage..it is a most amazing place....next time! Enjoy baby! Much aloha, Iwalani and family.
Can’t believe I just found your channel! You two are adorable, and this is really some quality content you’re putting up.❤️❤️ I’m about to binge watch all your videos now.
We really enjoyed that beach 🏖 visiting the big island 🌴,such beautiful memories 😪😪😪because one of our kid’s past away 3 years ago and every time we see the big island 🌴 we remember him 😪
Nice! I was on the big island last year and heading back in a few weeks. Can't wait..watching this is getting me pumped to go again! Can't wait to see those Sea Turtles again..love those little guys! Hah..looks like the same sleeping turtle I saw on that exact same beach...LOL..
You guys find the most amasing places, bit strange to have a lock on the door, with no windows, jess is looking and sounding great for 6plus months, all the best for 9 months
check out rainbow falls, and Narnia. Also the town of Pahoa has amazing hippie vibe. You should also check out a Kava Bar for a unique experience!! Have a blast!
Ok, so if you go to Maui, you HAVE to go to Wow Wow Lemonaide which has THE BEST acai bowls. Then,...right across the road from Wow Wow is an AMAZING shop for pie called MAUI PIE! Even if you are not a pie/dessert person, you will be after trying a slice. They are a HAVE to stop for us every time we go to Maui. There, Paia Fish Market and some other spots as well
Oh my, one of our favorite islands. Back in the 70's we went there and visited many of the same locations. We were DINKS back then. (Dual Incomes No Kids). Much has changed, but the shores, lava flows, lush vegitation and the contrast between Hilo and Kona remains the same. Also our return vacations to Hawaii, was it 7 or 8 times? ❤️📷👀😎❗️
I am not a coffee drinker but I do like Kona Mocha Lattes and freezes, which I get at a local coffee shop. SOOOO much better than a latte or freeze made with regular coffee.

Fun. Love Hawaii. Going to Kauai? Some wonderful hikes around the Waimea canyon. If not, will you be hiking out to see the hot lava flow? Dunno if that’s possible now...did that many years ago. Maui, Hana side is awesome, too....
So nice to catch up -- I am on a "low tech" challenge (sucks actually) -- but nice to see your adventures! Thx for sharing the adventures! Glad you are all doing well! xoxo J. from Canada.
Jess As you folks were in Fiji just weeks ago I just wanted to let you know that Fiji also has Mantarays too and a special island called Mantaray island LOL...... Loved your Hawaii vlogs BTW
Went to the big island for my babymoon almost a year ago and we did the manta ray night dive too!! Totally agree it’s a must do. Btw Kona coffee >> Australian coffee haha
check out the bucket list famliey they are also travellers , they have three kids and i think you will love them . maybe it will give you some inspiration for up coming travels. Leah
Its so nice island black beech and ocean. If you will have time you can also visit volcano island LANZAROTE there is huge Volcano park look like Mars 😄😄😊😊😊Its so beautiful and you can try also wine very tasty 😉
I used to live there in the early & late '90s. I came back to O'ahu in 2001 or so. Sometimes miss it, but a bit clipped too. Back in Waianae, so as Country as it gets around here. I last lived at Puako, near Kawaihae, South Kohala distt. Did they hassle you about driving on the Saddle Road from Kona side to Hilo? I took the route first in a '78 Lincoln Mark V back in '93 or so, then later in a '69 Corona, and maybe an '88 Accord. Parts of Hawaii are very Haole.
Have you been to Kahaluu Bay and Hapuna Beach on the Kona side? Apparently the first is good for snorkelling and Hapuna beach is meant to be similar to our Qld beaches. Also was the bay Kealakekua Bay or Kua Bay which is meant to be a good spots for dolphins and snorkelling? But keep in mind there are also companies like Kona Ocean Adventures and Coral Reef snorkel adventures for dolphin snorkel tours. It doesn't help you but for anyone that wants to zipline over waterfalls on the Hilo side there are Skyline Hawaii and Umauma Falls zipline. I believe the former you can also swim at the waterfall from the Jumanji movie afterwards. Now I haven't been myself but spent hours on UA-cam and trip advisor before I did a 180 and booked Alaska instead for this year. The a Manta Ray boat tour looks great. Which company did you go with? It sounded like it gave you such joy with the giggles.
Welcome back to Hawaii on our big epic road trip around Hawaii's Big island! Got a fun packed adventure for you this weekend :)
Gorgeous view
nice view...
pls do come again here in the philippines, in island of Mindanao
Flying The Nest guys pretty nice video I liked it. Hopefully I’ll be my UA-cam channel friendship🙏🙏❤️

Hahahaha !
My husband and I did this exact trip for our honeymoon 16 years ago (minus the tiny home airBnB). Loved watching you guys do it all again.

That cabin on the coffee farm! And the farmers market! And the falls! 👍🏼 Swimming at night seems brave because that’s when the big stuff comes out.
AAAAAAAAAAAmazing. I can't wait to return to the Big Island. Praying God will bless us this year. Thank you so much and God bless. Love from AZ.

Love the fact you're using Josh Garrels music! It fits so well with the feel of your vlogs.

Your videography keeps getting better & better! In addition, your choice of music is consistent, it seems to reflect the both of you! We love it! ❤️
Jess, you find the most amazing places to stay (everywhere in the world) and Stephen your drone footage and music is brilliant.

That looks so peaceful and relaxing 😊 I need more of these places in my vlogs but the British weather is soooo bad 😂
Love the tiny bnb house! Not sure I could live in one full-time but I'd give it a shot and downsize one day. Also appreciated the dive shots with sea turtle and manta rays.

Loving these longer vlogs recently. Hawaii has always been our ultimate bucket list destination and your videos have reinforced that ❤️😍 x
We are going to try make the longer length a regular thing 💛
There’s a sad economical difference between Kona and Hilo. Everyone goes to Kona for the resorts but Hilo is a hidden gem!
Ok so keep it that way. What are you complaining about
My Fiance and I are sating in Hilo for a week for our honeymoon. We'll travel all over the Island but Hilo is the homebase
In Hawaii why would you want to keep a city economically depressed?
Whatever each side of the island has its own charm
Puna is the real hidden gem ;) places some tourist will never find.
OMG love the out door sleeping. What a fun idea. We travel a ton too and need to get back out to HI.
It’s fun watching this because I am from the big island ( Kona ). Because I know every we’re you guys went.

I’m from Brighton and nothing is as bad as the pebbles here ! Xx
haha you could almost say its more like a stone beach over there!!
Would much rather have a beach like Hawaii black beach! Just walking on the pebbles hurts so much
I used to live there in the early & late '90s.
You should go to South Africa Cape Town and go up table Mountain there's a big lake at the top
