He was the Funeral Director at Arlington National Cemetery. He is doing God's work, taking care of our fallen and their families. He has been for many decades. Rain (snow) or shine.
Most Veteran cemeteries have waiting times to be buried. Even some State level Veteran cemeteries have it too. Right now the one in West Tennessee is at least 3 week out because of how many funerals they do on a daily basis. For Arlington it's usually 6 months.
I served under his son, MajGen Brier when I was with 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines. My condolences, Sir.
