And Lin Dan was not even near his prime at this time. Prime LD (2007-2009) played a completely different badminton and 2010-2013 LD was faster than 2014 LD. But, 2014 LD vs 2019 Momota would be a really good match up. Both have the same base style and about same speed, but one is offensive oriented and one is defensive oriented.

LD was injured all pf 2013, somehow won the world championship after getting a wild card. Peoceeded to be injured most of 2014, and wasn't qualified to defend is title. So thats the demarcation - pre-2013 LD was unbeatable, and post 2013 LD was merely one of the best players.

Actually i believe that no one can defeat Lindan in his prime time,, till late 2019, he is so good against his every opponent.They need to watch most of his videos like me, and make a right decision.
