  • A quick note on where to find the heating off temperature.
Once this temperature (outdoors) has been reached, the heat pump will not produce heat for the heating system until the outside air temperature drop below the set value.
This does not affect the hot water production
*adjusting the system without fully understanding it may cause adverse effects such as increased running costs or damage to the system. If in doubt always refer to the user manual or seek expert advise

Hi, I was hoping you could help me. I’ve got a constant drop in temperature and then it takes hours to come back up to 52 degrees. There’s also a warning of low air flow (69) low air flow bs1. I’ve cleaned the filter and cleaned to air filters in bathroom and kitchen but the warning still persists. Could you kindly help me. Many thanks

It’s a bit difficult to diagnose remotely with limited information sorry. What is dropping and taking ages to get back up? 52°c is quiet hot
Alarm (69) low air flow is a “non calibrated air flow sensor” assuming this is an exhaust air heat pump? It shouldn’t affect the compressor/ heat pump operations

Hi, does that mean that your heater will only heat the house until it reaches 17 degrees, and will only go above 17 if the outside temperature is less than 5?

If it’s set at 17°c (or any other temperature) it means that once the ambient air temperature outside reaches or exceeds this set value the heat pump will stop producing heat for the heating system
