Monstercat never stopped uploading Trance. The supply is just short. I'm the only artist on Monstercat who constantly makes Trance. I'm working on getting more trance on Monstercat but it's hard to get people who M-Cat like. Next Trance release is April 5th, by me. It's very different from Koh Samui but i hope you'll like it. Afterwards, i might have some new Trance for Monstercat as well. Just gotta give me more time. I don't work as fast as some other producers. M-Cat DO want more Trance
Koh Samui is now 10 years old! Mitchell Claxton’s debut track as well…talk about a severely underrated artist! This guy made some of the best Trance on Monstercat! This is still good in 2022!
Now this is what you call Trance. It is up there in terms of quality alongside some of the best trance of all time because it is so well structured and sounds simply sublime. One of my favourite Trance tracks of all time
literally a year ago. and it was wonderful. just wonderful. this track was inspired by the experiences i had in my limited time there. including watching a lightning storm happening out at sea at night whilst i sat on the beach. was just incredible. and ziplining through the trees there was also incredible.

You bring up one of the most difficult issues that an average EDM listener has when first transitioning into the trance sub-genre. Many people are impatient or don't find the buildup as engaging as the release of all the energy. I personally enjoy trance for the long adventure that a song can bring you on, such as this one.
They're just ungrateful :( This is trance at its finest though! Whenever I run to this song early in the morning it gets me pumped! It's just full of energy!
At first I was a little surprised when I read that this track was going to combine trance and hardstyle elements. I was kind of skeptical, but this is really great.
Compared to things like Laguna and Trance Chords (yes, Trance Chords) I kinda like this song. It really puts the energetic part of Trance forward, something that's a big element but you hardly ever hear.
I haven't really ever cared for Trance. More of a Dubstep/Drumstep kinda guy myself. But this song has made me get into Trance/house, etc.. so much more. Thanks a lot for opening my eys.

The hardstyle is eliminating the trance flavor, why would you start the song with the thump thump, it's gotta be gradually introduced, not thrown at me! Ah, but at 1:52, you can hear what's coming at 2:17, but very quietly, nicely done.
Monstercat are all about helping young producers grow. Since trance is an old style of music and not many aspiring DJ's are making it anymore, monstercat have no material to upload
she did write some lyrics but i wasn't feeling them. i credited her because she wrotes some cool stuff and did some sick harmonies that made it into the track. so i felt she was almost like a co-writer on the track itself.
