Women’s basketball continues to grow, and Athletes Unlimited Basketball (AU) is proving to be a key part of that expansion! 🔹 What is AU Basketball? - Unlike traditional leagues, AU features 40 elite players competing in a four-week season with no permanent teams! Every week, the top four players on the leaderboard draft new squads, making each game a fresh challenge.
📍 Where is AU Basketball Played? - After moving around in past seasons, AU is making Nashville, Tennessee its home for 2025! With its deep basketball history-shoutout to Pat Summitt and the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame-Nashville is the perfect setting for this growing league. All games will be played at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
⚡ How Does AU’s Format Work? - Instead of traditional standings, players earn points for:
✅ Winning quarters & games
✅ Individual stats (points, rebounds, assists, etc.)
✅ MVP voting from teammates & fans
At the end of the season, the player with the most points is crowned the AU Basketball Champion. Past winners include WNBA standouts Allisha Gray, NaLyssa Smith, and Tianna Hawkins.
