The world is CRAZY right?? I met my husband when I was 21 and we have now been married for almost 30 years. A few years after we got married and had moved into a new home I was sorting through some old pictures he had in a box. In the box were some photos of his senior beach week trip , he had been taking photos with his friends from their balcony. In one of those photos was myself and my three best friends walking down the boardwalk together. I would not even meet him for 6 years after those pictures were taken. It was WILD to come across that picture!!

I wanna unlock the solo trip thing too, this is soooo inspiring! I'm not worried about what others will think of me, but I just don't know what to do with myself at dinner if I don't have company to talk to lol. But seeing you do it made me feel like I can do it too!
If you are sitting alone, do what others do, use your phone or read etc. No one is really noticing if you are solo. Don't miss out because of feeling awkward.
You can do it! If you’re not comfortable at first just go on your phone, or read a book…but then when you’re more comfortable it is so fun to just look around and people watch if it’s a busy restaurant. I used to be afraid to go to a restaurant alone, but then I just went for it. The first time I did it I stayed on my phone answering emails while I ate. But then as I got more comfortable I would just sit and eat and chill. And honestly now it’s such a peaceful relaxing part of my day that I look forward to. 🤗
Yes! The last time I went to a “fancy” dinner a gentleman by us was reading and enjoying his meal. It looked so relaxing! It honestly made me want to have a solo dinner!
My husband, who did not go to my school (all girls school) was at my prom. His picture is in the middle of the prom page of the yearbook(he went as the date of the editor). I met him when we stood up to our besties wedding, who coincidentally met at that same prom.
This will be the closest thing to ever reaching my life's dream of going to N.Y. during the Christmas Season or ever! I've dreamed of seeing that magnificent Christmas tree forever and watching your vlogmas has made me cry mostly tears of happiness for you and also for me because I can at least say that I saw it pretty close up 😊❤ I may not ever make it there. The older I get the more my life changes, the reality sets in. But, I will never stop dreaming and I'm going to save this video so I can watch it again next Christmas or wherever else I want to! NYC is a fabulous place to visit but being surrounded by gray concrete day in day out would get depressing. I’d much rather live in your house with trees and greenery all around, nothing beats being surrounded by nature !!

Saw a play at Madison Square Garden, Central Park, ate at Tavern on the Green, shopping, etc... it was good, but there's no way in hell I'd live there. Crime is off the charts, it's filthy for the most part, & most of the people are rude. I'm glad I got to see what all the hubbub is about, but I won't go back. ETA All just my own opinion.😊
@@TivaC You’re absolutely right, crime is off the charts, there’s no way I’d take the subway in NYC now, random violence for no reason as well as robberies on the streets and if someone tries to intervene and help someone getting attacked, they get in trouble so no one wants to help now and you’re on your own, I think people gushing over NYC don’t see the reality of it nor the many videos on X all the time of the violence there
