      Hahaha. Yes, try it with those white store mushrooms, even if it is your intention to eat right away. They are best served cold in my opinion.

      You should see the big ones. The caps can spread out to the size of dinner plates.

      Really? You like mushrooms? Usually it is just adults that do.

    Are they pickle flavor and is that little amount of peppers spicy? Can you cut them larger? Like a celery stalk 2 inches long. It's one of my favorite mushrooms. Thank you for sharing

    Hi Bruni family! It's been too long since I stopped by to see my favorite family! I absolutely love mushrooms, especially because I eat mostly vegetarian and the savory flavor is basically my "meat." I love that you guys pick these yourselves, that's excellent, mushrooms have so many incredible nutrients. Seriously, great work! Do you sell the canned mushrooms at a local market or anything? Maybe you should start an online shop! :) Hoping this message finds you all well. Take care! XOXO Jamie Lynn and baby Chase

      Hi Jamie, we love mushrooms too. This jarred method is my new favorite as I love pickled food anyway. (the kids still hate mushrooms) So much work goes into jarring them that I wouldn't sell them. I do give them as gifts but I can't put a price on my time spent collecting, washing , cooking and jarring them. I wouldn't mind dehydrating and selling them online if I can find a market, that I would do. Dehydrated is not my favorite way to eat them but some people love them like that.

    Awesome music track! How long do they keep?

      I have eaten some that were 2 years old that tasted fine. And I hear they keep longer than that. Of course I don't expect ours to last that long, they taste great and go well with most meals.

      It's all good now. Yes I film in 4k whenever possible. The hardest part of indoor shots is the lighting. In poor lighting 4k shots still look bad. I used a 500 watt outdoor spot light to light this and it still wasn't perfect. Partly because it makes yellow light. I need to get a proper white light for video making.

    Isn't this a botulism risk?

    • @BruniFamilyTV
      @BruniFamilyTV  5 років тому

      Botulism specifically I doubt because of the high acid content in the finished mushrooms from boiling it in vinegar. Even after pressing them they are very strong in vinegar and it permeates everything in the jar. I wouldn't want to store them in a warm place because like anything they could go bad. But I did eat some that had been stored that way for 2 years. The lady who taught me says that she keeps them for several years. I know for a fact that ours will be eaten over the next few months.

    YOU DO THIS AND YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE FLAVOR FROM PINE MUSHROOM. THOSE FINAL PRODUCTS WILL TASTE LIKE ANY MUSHROOM WITH THE TASTE OF YOUR SPICE AND OIL ONLY.
    ALL YOUR PINE MUSHROOM TASTE IS GONE WITH THE JUICY YOU THREW OUT...
