These new player 2 strats are some of the best strats going. period. Full stop. I own the exact one in the video and let me tell you, I feel like my needs are met and I just don't need to pick up another one. Yeah sure I will, yeah sure I probably will check stuff out but I'm not even that curious anymore because my needs are so well met.
I hear a lot of people hating on Fender because of what you’re not getting or are getting verses other brands for the money, but I will admit that tone is fantastic!
Any chance we could get a demo of your exclusive Am Pro II with the 69 CS pickups and the roasted maple neck? I'm considering getting one, but don't know what to expect from the pickups.. and since I'm in Germany, I can't try one
Nothing new on these guitars that we haven't seen on strats before. £700+ for a mexican strat 😂😂😂 can buy second hand, made in Japan strats for £600-£700. Second hand American Standards for £800-£900. £700+ and still no bone nut, still the crap string stree, no locking tuners. I've not bought a Fender since 2020. Waste of money peeps. Sire, Chapman, Even Jet guitars and Harley Benton will do you a better guitar for less. Watching the vids from all the usual suspects today, Andertons, Guitar Guitar, PMTV etc. Everyone is struggling to try and pitch them 😂 😂😂😂 heres a better idea Fender. How about trying to make a guitar that is flawless in build quality(no sharp or high frets) dosent need a drastic set up out of the box for less than £600. Plenty other brands are doing it these days.
Just picked up (this afternoon) a brand new HSS strat (maple neck) for £525. I've bought 2 Fender Player strats, 2 teles, a duo sonic, a mustang, and a J-bass all in the past 6 months, all either brand new or ex-display for between £470-£530. They're all excellent quality guitars with superb playability. I know those old Fender Mex guitars were pretty ropey a few years back, but Fender have really stepped up their game recently. My Player guitars don't feel or sound far off my American Standard models from 10 or 15 years ago. I prefer shop display models if I can get them. Most shops will cherry-pick a good one from their stock and, set it up really well.

Tone is great on those Strats. Love the chords you're playing too.
Thank you kindly!

they all felt amazing too! Well worth getting your hands on
I just wish the teles came with a string through bridge like the American ii.
