As you get older you look back and realize all the damage people tried hiding and maybe even yourself a bit and a song like this really says what you feel. Really beautiful way to express that pain or whatever. SAA was their best work.. it was like a bruise itself. Very venerable and I appreciate and admire it. 😢
This album got me through my freshman year in college, way back in 2004. I like to revisit for a lil sweet melancholy when I need it. It's how I hug 18 year old me and let her know we're gonna be ok!
the opening riff is simple and killer all at once, woooop old death cab
yeah, great song
When death cab was sad af and made you want to be, too.
I didn't drink until age 23. I had plenty of music. Then it got slurry. Blurry. Looking for my folks in the wrong folks.

This song sound like 198d by At the Drive-In
“We sped the Plymouth across the banks of the Mississippi River, Mary Timony was smaller than a superball….” Gotta love a good Helium reference!
All positive comments were understated.
Those guitar cords will haunt my soul forever
Such a great sound ❤️🙏🏽⭐️
I like sad music, no, LOVE sad music, but for some reason no band hits quite like Death Cab...
