@@gretchenchadwick8343 It actually was used today on one of the Santa Trains. I'm guessing that it might be more sporadic, but will still be used when needed.
They haven't done them in years. The tracks beyond Buckingham aren't in any shape to allow passenger trains to run anymore, and the railroad doesn't seem to have any interest in repairing or upgrading the tracks to bring the trains back.
An RP39-2C is a type of GP40 that was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudson. They used to operate on Virginia Railway Express before they were retired and sold off.

#901 had a fruitful career
The UTA's work train locomotive now at New Hope Railroad. I cant find any footage of #901 in UTA service. The #901 is technically preserved
