Thanks for letting me know I’m not crazy I usually wear a US 9.5 and the 8s fit me snug. If they loosen up a bit with wear they will fit perfect.

Next time, use a hair dryer to heat the sole for about ten minutes. That will make them very soft and comfortable. They are always stiff at first.
