About a year ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS.For several years, I had gained a lot of weight, felt tired, and had problems with anxiety. Everything looks delicious. Thank you. For anyone who likes KFC coleslaw: I turned a recipe from my mother in law to sugar free coleslaw. It’s delicious and quite a lot like KFC. Shred one small head of cabbage with 2-3 carrots. (Of course, you can omit carrots and add some purple cabbage to the green cabbage or just use all green cabbage.) To the cabbage add 1 cup healthy mayonnaise of choice, 1/2 cup of white vinegar ( can also use ACV), and 1/4 cup of Monkfruit sweetener. We have not tried this with any other sweetener so I don’t know how it would be but we love it with the monk fruit. Chill before serving, usually overnight.
This is very good. For the purists, replace the asian oils and dressings..... simply mix olive oil with balsamic vinegar, add dijon mustard and some chilli powder. Shake it all up and pour on anything as a salad dressing or as a marinade for cooking. I use it for stir fries instead of soy sauce, sesame seed oil or fish sauce. The other thing that works in stir fried is lots of fatty bacon. Fry it up in a big dollop of butter or beef dripping, then remove the bacon and cop it up, then into the pan with cauliflower rice, broccoli and capsicum, flash fry and its delicious.

My experience suggests that the keto diet is over-hyped. A good diet is supposed to be easy to stick with and be healthy. *Agoge diet* is a good option, I lost a lot of persistent belly fat.
May not all be keto but you could switch h it up to MAKE it keto. Rice? Easy substitute for riced cauliflower. The protein issue where it's mentioned loads of meat with a side of veggies. Easy up your veggie portion and cut that steak in half. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to notice ways to switch things up to make them keto guys
The problem is thos is clearly NOT a keto video, just repurposed their old recipe videos to appease what this creator clearly thinks is a fad. They can put some effort in in they dont want viewers complaining about the halfassed job they did
Artbug maybe if the title was “mostly Keto or Keto and low carb ideas”, it would appease folks who are offended by it. I thought the video was well done since it was quick and clear but I just substitute the carbs like quinoa for other veggies. I got some great ideas from this video and that is what I was looking for since I am new to cooking in general. :-)

The hardest part for me is that I have two younger siblings and a family with lots of background regarding overeating. And my siblings are always hungry when they come home so I figured I’d start this diet so I could help all of them and do various activities with each of them without their knowledge that their on a diet. I don’t want them to have expectations, or step on the scale to see they’ve lost nothing. I just want us to be an active family so I can rest easy knowing that they have a better chance at living longer, and happier lives when I’m gone.(I’m joining the Army I’m not dying hahah.) Also disciplining myself on command would be a huge achievement for me.

I never started keto and I'm curious to consider it and I'm reading through the comments and yes the recipes on here include things not devoted to the diet but if u been doing it for for awhile come on people substitute it's not hard use ur brains like u all sound childish b happy they made this to inspire people bcuz it did for me thank u for who made this
It confused me a lot thb. If it is a Keto recipe they should stick to the ingredients that are Keto friendly. Don't get me wrong I can still skip some ingredients, and the recipes looks good as heck.
Remember to eat tomatoes and use salsa with caution in keto as tomatoes are relatively high in sugar being fruit and they add sugar to most salsa brands
@@jeremyalexander9761 anions can be tricky one. According to FDA a large 400 gram of sautéed onion have 24 grams of net carbs but who will beceating that much anyway my rule of thumb always count and try to balance your daily macros intake.
While not Keto pure this offers up some great inspirational ideas. Those who are true Keto purists will know how to adapt the modifications that are needed, what oils are best, rice, quinoa and potato alternatives. Thank you for the tantalizing ideas :)

Problem is that keto needs very specific conditions pertaining to karbohydrates to work. And many if these recepice are abundant in them. The problem then becomes a high fat intake where you stikk burn the glucose in the food as an energy source. Then the amount of fat is not good for you since it's not used in the body as it's primary energysource and there by gets stored in another way.

Great but there are some mistakes: quinoa is NOT keto, not that much cherry tomato ( too much sugar in it ), no mashed potatoes, no canola oil, moderate protein and the keto coffee is horrible!! Just coffee, coconut oil and butter blend it and that’s all, really no need to put meat and bacon in it ... we don’t eat like pork!!! Thank you for the recipes ideas
I keep running into keto cookbooks at the grocery stores, i keep getting excited to finally see keto out there for people to see... and then i look through the book and find similar mistakes that were in this video... You do not use so many tomatoes on keto, no beans.... and more... do your research people and dont feed people these false keto recipes

👍many delicious looking recipes. 17, and 18 are insane! 👎 too much cooking with aluminium foil, canola oil is bad for everyone, no matter how they eat, cod fish are still very endangered and should not be used. Same with tuna, incase you didn't know. Then there are all the carbs...

Problem is that keto needs very specific conditions pertaining to karbohydrates to work. And many if these recepice are abundant in them. The problem then becomes a high fat intake where you stikk burn the glucose in the food as an energy source. Then the amount of fat is not good for you since it's not used in the body as it's primary energysource and there by gets stored in another way.

Great but there are some mistakes: quinoa is NOT keto, not that much cherry tomato ( too much sugar in it ), no mashed potatoes, no canola oil, moderate protein and the keto coffee is horrible!! Just coffee, coconut oil and butter blend it and that’s all, really no need to put meat and bacon in it ... we don’t eat like pork!!! Thank you for the recipes ideas

I keep running into keto cookbooks at the grocery stores, i keep getting excited to finally see keto out there for people to see... and then i look through the book and find similar mistakes that were in this video... You do not use so many tomatoes on keto, no beans.... and more... do your research people and dont feed people these false keto recipes

Canola oil is one of the worst oils. Need purely Keto version.
Olive oil will work as a substitute.
Avacado oil is keto.

👎 too much cooking with aluminium foil, canola oil is bad for everyone, no matter how they eat, cod fish are still very endangered and should not be used. Same with tuna, incase you didn't know.
