Cool place to ride. Love that T7 motor and sound. Great Job on the Video and thanks for Posting it.
It’s incredible. My mic picked it up so good! Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it.
Motoport makes some great riding apparel. I've used their jacket and pants since 1994 or so onward. The Ultra is a great protective jacket. Lot of protection with it on. Very versatile with the liner and all.
It realistic great, and awesome to support a made in America company! If you need new gear, use “BROKEN10” at check out for 10% off. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
I'm watching this video with a whole new level of appreciation, since I now own an ADV bike. So bummed I'm behind the curve, and you guys already are done with the big bike phase. Haha.
I should go back and watch this one. It was such a cool trip. If I figure out some garage space, I’d love to get back in the big bike gang! Costa Rica rekindled that flame.
@@BrokenEnduro I'm having a lot of fun on the BMW 800, but the T7 would be worth selling this one for.
@@americandirtrider7662 The T7 is a fantastic bike, especially at the price. I really want to ride an 890 adventure. I've heard it's the perfect ADV bike.
@@BrokenEnduro Yeah I was just looking at the specs of the 890 Adventure. I guess if I HAD TO own an orange bike, it would be that one 😁
No wonder it was named Death Valley, what an inhospitable looking hell hole. I can't wait to ride there!!!
It sure is! No one should visit! Hahaha! Hope you get out there, it's incredible! Thanks for watching!
We took our Ram 3500 through Titus Canyon, such a gorgeous drive, one of my favorites I have done to date.
It really is quite the sight to see! Can't wait to go back. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, I have had a set of Motoport Jacket and Pants for 6 years now and I just ordered another mesh jacket from them. I absolutely love this gear, street or off road doesn't matter. comfortable and fit is perfect. throw it in the washing machine let it dry and it is like new.
Thank you Bill! I’m glad you liked the video! I absolutely love their gear! I hope you were able to use the discount code from the video description! Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I appreciate it.
The big GS’s just chewed it up and spat it out. 😎
That is an awesome track...thanks for sharing.
It was so awesome to see what those big GS's could get through. So much fun! Thank you for watching!
I love the rain fly in death valley..That is very optimistic.
Hahahaha! Wondering if someone would call me on that. 😂 It was to keep the wind and cold out. I use a 40 degree bag because it packs much smaller. Thanks for watching!
😍🥴🤤✌🇪🇬 Beautiful bike , may God protect you and it. Last time I was hooked this bad on a bike was when I was 15 on a Vmax and finally got it when I was 27. But now at age 44 I think this one is my new Must have.
Thank you! It is an amazing motorcycle, possibly the unicorn we've all been looking for. Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching!
I’ve got a couple GSAs and a DRZ. Will be selling the DRZ and picking up a T7 this spring!
You're gonna love the T7, there's a few in the club now. They are incredible bikes! Thanks for watching!
I'm afraid I'll want to sell my DRZ after I get one too. My DRZ is set up for supermoto though so maybe keep it for the twisties
I'm also looking at selling my drz for a T7 😅
@@AceInvader If you can only have one, the T7 is it! If you've got the space, get all the bikes!! Haha!
@@slakk5093 It won't disappoint! Truly an amazing motorcycle! Thanks for watching!
That really is an epic place you were riding!!! Oh yeah, I would've dropped it in the deep stuff too....especially at that slow speed. Thanks for the ride along, really enjoyed the scenery.
It was so beautiful! That makes me feel much better! You are so very welcome, I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for watching!
Looked like a great ride. First drop was funny... the hardest bits are the easy bits!
It really was! Always nice to catch the first one on camera, of course it had to be a silly tip over. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Been a big fan for a very long time!
Better choices on where to stop will help a lot. Your crew is choosing the most challenging soft shoulders or rockiest shoulders.
Just pull to the side of the road, there's no traffic!
Also, is there a worry about gas? Why turn your bike off every time you stop?
You’re absolutely right. As for gas, yes it was very very tight. I rolled into the station on reserve. 😂 Good times. Thanks for watching!
I need to do some adventure riding in the desert southwest. Thanks for sharing. Death Valley looks amazing.
Product placement promotions in videos are usually annoying, but the Motoport riding apparel was very well targeted and appreciated. I love the idea of high quality custom tailored riding gear made with the best technology. Leather is so 1950. I checked out their site and their gear isn't cheap, but it shouldn't be because it's not cheap gear. It looked like good value for very high end gear. If I was a round the world adventure tourer, I'd be all over it. I think I'll buy the pants, and when I'm ready to replace my off-the-rack, jacket, I'll get the jacket to match. I'm not a clothes guy, but for motorcycling, this is safety equipment. Too often, it's treated as an afterthought.
You're very welcome. I'm happy you like the vid. Death Valley was a incredible adventure. I completely agree with you about the product vids, but until I met the owners of Motoport, I had no idea that there was an American made custom gear company around. Home grown, is worth screaming from the rooftops and to make thing better, their gear is amazing! If you have any questions about the gear or measurements, don't hesitate to call and speak to Rob. He's very knowledgeable and will make sure you will get exactly what you're looking for. Thank you so much for your great comment and feedback, I truly appreciate it. Catch ya on the next one!
Wow, death valley looks fun!
It really is! It’s an adventure bike playground!
Yes nice of them to hook you up with a jacket and pants. 👍
It really was! I absolutely love their gear and their business model. I really appreciate small business and American made products. 👍🏼
Its just awesome. . . .
Love & respect from INDIA
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the vid!
Great video. Love the canyon as 14:50. We’ve got some great stuff in Australia but I can’t say we have anything like that. Spectacular!
Thank you! It's a pretty magical place and I can't wait to go back. I watch a couple guys in Australia and would love to ride there! Thanks for watching and for commenting!
700 likeLy best, lightest bike of the bunch. Easy handling. Nice ride.
It is a great motocycle, couldn't be happier with it! Thanks for watching!
Nice video good ride beautiful bike 👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙂
Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and commenting!
well how heavy are you exactly? lol just got my t7 and have a huge list already.. I'm about 190 pounds, and gear that id be taking is minimal I usually hammock camp.. tubes tire lever and fuel and water some food maybe extra clothes... adds up for sure..
I’m 150lbs. It’s crazy how quickly the weight adds up.
Great video...what amazing scenery and a fantastic place to ride 👌.. the T7 is a great bike, I'm super pleased with mine 😀.. Cheers, Steve
Thank you! That really means a lot! I have had a lot of bikes, and this one is really something special. Thanks you for watching!👍🏼
Question: if you put packing weight on the back of the motorcycle do you increase the front pre-load? Or decrease?
I leave the front alone and increase the preload on the rear shock. It helps quite a bit. Thanks for watching!
Love the video but your helmet camera needs to be up more all I see is the GPS. Can’t really see beyond that . Hope this helps
I’m glad you love the video! Sorry about the camera angle. Most of my videos are on my dual sport and the chin mount is the best angle. Thanks for watching!
Found my way here from Stephanie‘s post on Facebook. Great video, thanks for sharing! I’ve got a giant pile of Klim gear but definitely going to check out Motoport. Was going to buy the Klim Baja Suit in January but you might have changed my mind!
That's great! I'm glad she shared it! Thank you so much, it really means a lot. Klim gear is great, I've got a bunch of it too,, but man this Motoport stuff is so damn good! You absolutely should give them a call for more info. Ask to speak with Rob, he'll take care of you!
It's too funny that you were the only non-BMW bike! Those big bikes are way heavier than yours. Incredible scenery, those trails look like they are fun to just cruise down and take it all in. How did Andre bend something on his bike?
So happy to be on the smallest of the big bikes. Death Valley is incredible, you must make a trip out there. I'll need to tell you about his bike is person. Insurance totaled it and he just bought a T7.
Got a T7 coming in April of 21 your making me drool. How do you like the Moscow Moto bags?
Congratulations Roger! You’re gonna love it! So I absolutely love the saddle bags. I’ve got mixed feelings about the tank bag, I like that it can double as a backpack and that it can hold 2L of water, but there are soooo many compartments. They all seem to be smaller pockets and really limit the usable space. Probably gonna try out the large tank bag that Giant Loop makes. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Great video. So did Titus Canyon end at 15:40 and then you started up Chloride cliffs?
Thank you Eric! Glad you liked it. You know it! I think it's so funny that we all cover so much ground, but can recognize trails so well! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@BrokenEnduro Thanks, I really don't know those trails but saw a reference below to Chloride Cliffs. I had heard that Titus is relatively easy and when I saw the last part I started having second thoughts of doing Titus since I don't have much experience in dirt. I think I will do Titus though. Thanks.
@@JoeS97756 Titus is not difficult at all and the scenery is spectacular! I highly recommend it!
I gotta get one of those T7s. Looks amazing
You're more than welcome to take mine out for a test ride! It's such a great bike! Thanks for watching!
@@BrokenEnduro whens the next moto camping adventure?
@@lsradventures Nothing planned yet, but I'll let you know when that changes. We do have a camping with motos trip planned for February.
Great Video and nice ride
What did you do in end about the right shin bumping on the clutch cover ?
I just got used to it. I spent the whole day on the bike today and didn't notice it at all. Thanks for watching!
Nice View nice video, Respect 💪👍👍👍👍👍💪
Thank you! It was a great trip and I can’t wait to go back! Thanks for watching!
16:10 You are now leaving Earth. Welcome to Mars.
No kidding! Wild place!
The t7 looks so awesome. I’m torn on what to buy next. Africa twin or t7. I think the twin would be better to go on long rides and have a passenger but the t7 would be better for the off road portion
It is such a great bike! You called it, the T7 is better off road and the Twin is better on road. They are both very capable bikes, it just depends on what you’re going to do with it. Thanks for watching!
Exactly
What exhaust are you using? great sound
!
I’ve been told this before and I completely agree! I actually run the stock exhaust. I think that my mic just picks up the sound better than other videos out there. Thanks for watching!
@@BrokenEnduro oh wow, thats suprinsing,
.
What model Garmin GPS are you using?
I’m using the Garmin Montana 700i. It’s pretty great and I love that inReach is built in. Thanks for watching!
Amazing landscape!
It truly was! Can't wait to got back. Thanks for watching!
About the size.. a buddy I ride with says its basically a 450, only more power(sure some added weight, but not too crazy)
It's is pretty wild riding it, it feels, handles, and responds like a big dirt bike. You really only notice the extra weight until you go to park it or pick it up. Haha! I love it though. Thanks for watching!
Looks amazing, I really love those canyon walls.
Dude it's epic! That canyon was so insane! Probably one of the coolest trails I've been on!
@@BrokenEnduro love canyon riding out here but the washes just sick some times
@@callmewes5121 There's something special about riding in a canyon. I love it!
Love the video! Good coverage of Titus Canyon and up Chloride Cliffs. I can't wait to go again.
Are you going to show the next day too?
Thanks bro! Neither can I. I'm going to try and put something together of the next day. Busy busy busy! We got a lot of riding in this month!
That looked like a lot of fun. How many miles did you put in on that one? You might need to do a camping gear and food break down vid.
It was an incredible trip! Door to door, I did 750 miles. Maybe on the next motocamping vid I'll do some more around the camp stuff. Just don't really have the camera stuff to pull it off. Cooking in a moto helmet? Haha!
I’m having Afghanistan flash backs with you driving through there lol. Looks amazing though
Ha! I'm sorry about the flash backs, unless you were on a scenic motocamping trip in Afghanistan! It really is an amazing place. Thanks for watching!
Hey, just confirming, this was Titus Canyon and did you pass through Leadfield Ghost Town? Outstanding vid, just wanting to make sure of the track you took, super helpful to know!
It was Titus Canyon. I’m not sure where we were after that. I want to say Chloride Cliffs, but I’m not certain. I was playing follow the leader. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Thank you for the kind words, I’m glad you like the vid. Thanks for watching!
@@BrokenEnduro Thx, I ask as I was there in my Camry last week which obviously couldn't make that trip. I'm planning for my next DV outing, so thanks. It actually helps my planning for when I have a proper vehicle to take to the Ghost Towns!
I actually did Titus canyon in a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am In 2007 no BS.
I have 4 other cars as witnesses.
what handguards did you use on your t7? nice video
Thank you! I run the BarkBusters VPS hand guards. They have a T7 specific set that fits perfectly. Thanks for watching!
Nice video !
I appreciate hearing that! Thank you for the compliment and for watching!
geile Landschaft, geile Wege
It really is a beautiful area and all of the trails are very adventure bike friendly. Hope you can check it out if you ever find yourself in the states! Thanks for watching!
it seems the GPS blocked your view to the road
It many seem that way because the GoPro is mounted to my chin. I don’t really notice it being in the way and I mostly stand when off-road, so it’s not even a thought. Thanks for watching!
dude...i have never been so motion sick watching a video before😂😂
Sounds like you're sitting too close to the screen! Hahahaha!
@@BrokenEnduro 😂
belo video, que paisagem belíssima. sou apaixonado pela tenere, pena que no brasil as motos sao muito caras, mais com fé e muito trabalho eu vou comprar uma para mim, um abraço para vc e todos do seu canal.
Hey Charles! It really is a beautiful area! Sorry to hear they are so expensive, we are seeing the same problem here. Everything is over priced right now. Hopefully that will change and you’ll be able to get one. Thank you so much for watching!
Nice vid. How about that dash bobble everyone is talking about? How’d it go on your T7? Do you feel the need to install one of those bobble braces? Also, which pannier racks are you running ? Thx man!
Thanks Alex! So the antibobble head is a must. I could have lived with the shaky instrument cluster, but the headlight was annoying. It's super east to install. I went with the Touratech rack. The Tusk one works great too, got a buddy with it, but I liked the design of the Tourtech one more. It was much more expensive though. Thanks for the comments and for watching!
Thanks!
@@ThrillaPark You're welcome!
Oh my friend you aren't able to drive a bike in Off Road... Next time bring with you an elefant...😂😂😂😂😂
Easy to say from behind a keyboard. Ha!
Oh yeah!
Yes sir! Thanks for watching !
Ei# Yamaha não esqueça de enviar este modelo da Tenéré T 7 para americana do Sul .
I hope that you guys in South America do get this bike! It is a real winner! Thanks for watching!
Great video 👍👍👍
Thanks! I really appreciate the positive feedback! Glad you liked it!
What road were you on at minute 10:30?
That was the trail that goes through Titus Canyon. It is so incredible, I had no idea that anything like that was in Death Valley. An absolute must if you're ever there! Thanks for watching!
awesome video
Thank you! It was an amazing trip!
Pretty sketchy in spots..nice ride.
Thank you so much! It was such a great trip! I can’t wait to do it again! Thanks for watching!
You found out these babies are tippy . I have tipped mine 3 times and it's always doing a sharp slowdown turn either in a parking lot or of the side of the road when wanting to turn around and go the other way . Oh wait 4 drops , that last one was on my aunt's 5 acre flat horse property . So many gopher holes and the front tire just sunk in while I was laughing the whole time and as I rolled off the bike . The stock tires are not too good in softer gopher hole riddled short grassy fields . Well that what I was experiencing . Probably will get the tires you have or maybe the desert HT versions .
It really is the only time it shows it's weight. Probably wouldn't be as bad if I could touch the ground jut a bit more. Hahaha! We just need more seat time and we'll get the hang of it! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@BrokenEnduro
Thanks . I only have 1850 miles on my DR650 and just hit 602 on the Tenere . Time to bring it in and get the first service done . Really thinking I should have them put on a center stand . The guys at Touratech are telling I will wishing I did one day . Just don't want to and a gram of weight to the thing . Being a newer rider well legal rider anyway I have a lot to learn about all the ins and outs of maintaining a motorcycle and understanding what it likes and doesn't like as far as pavement and dirt riding . More saddle time is required for sure .
Need to find some ADV riders in the San Francisco Bay Area or there abouts . Next year I hope it will be possible to go on whatever adventure comes to mind . Looks like the Southern California BDR is doable right now . All I need is panniers and a good GPS and Spot type deal oh and a center stand pod lights Rotopax and a good first aid kit .
@@hardworkingamerican8847 I can see how a center stand would be nice, especially if you ride solo and need to deal with a flat. I agree with you about the weight, and if push came to shovel, I could always lay the bike down to deal with a tire, done it before. I highly recommend finding a group to ride with and getting as much seat time as possible. The advantages of riding with a group are enormous! The SoCal BDR is on my short list, looks amazing. I love the panniers I got, but they're gonna cost you. As for GPS and Spot, I combined the two and got the Garmin Montana 700i. Great GPS and it has built in inReach. Check it out!
@@BrokenEnduro
Yeah I need to get on a forum for ADV Dual Sport riders etc. I think I am going to go with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC and get their Tusk panniers with Nelson Rigg bags and a top rack . Mid 300s like 378 or something like that . If I go with their Olympus bags with included top rack then it's about 550 ish . My business has taken a beating this year but I can still afford good motorcycle gear . Would really like Lone Rider bags but I will try some a quarter of the price and see how that stuff works .
Can you communicate with that Garmin ? I mean in boondock areas with no cell phone connections . Also can it sync with a Sena or similar device ? Haven't had the need for any helmet devices yet but it is something that I will need also .
@@hardworkingamerican8847 I've got a buddy with the Tusk rack and he loves it. I also know a bunch of guys that run Nelson Riggs stuff, they all seem to like it. Sorry to hear about your business. It's been a weird year for sure.
As for the Garmin, you need to subscribe to the inReach services, I think plans start at like ten bucks a month. You can send text or emails with ZERO cell service. The thing works great. I know it has Bluetooth, but I'm not sure about the Sena. I have one but have never tried to connect them. I don't use in for turn by turn navigation, only following tracks. The Senas are good for line of sight communication, but that's about it. Most people run them, but don't expect to talk to people over mountains or around canyons.
Don't need such big heavy bikes , sub 500cc , 40-50 hp , below 300 pounds tenere would be an awesome bike . Would sell like hot cakes
You'd never guess, but you don't feel the weight when you're moving at a decent pace. The weight also makes it feel more stable on long highway runs, which we have a lot of out here in the western US.
@@BrokenEnduro yet for offroadies we need lighter bikes , but to make it dual sport , we need decent power as well and rigidity to lift 50-100 kg luggage . So in my opinion below 300 pounds , 40-50 hp bike is superb for this and makes it practical too ..
@@vijayvijaynsnbdbdbhxb I've seen guys turn KTM 500's into ADV bikes, the problem is that they get pretty buzzy on the highway and the service intervals are pretty short to do any long distance adventure rides.
What's wrong with Andrey's bike? Why, it's a BMW; that's what's wrong!
Hahahaha! His BMW was totaled by the insurance company. He's since bought a T7! Thanks for watching!
Skidplate!
Ha! Can't help myself. The carbon fiber skid plates make such a funny sound when you hit them! Thanks for watching!
Amazing trip! Thanks for de video.
@@Lecruque It really was. I hope to get out there again soon. You're welcome!
great vid...but those annoying flashing lights...in the middle of nowhere. cmon man GS more like BS lol
Doubtful that the lights were actually flashing; videos often makes LEDs appear to be flashing due to frame rate, etc. I've seen it on my own bike, and my lights have no flashing option!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! So LED light all blink, they just blink so fast we can’t see it. Occasionally the camera frame rate and LED blink sync in a way that looks like they blink. It’s weird. Thanks for watching!
Exactly! Thanks for watching and helping out in the comments!👍🏼
guy you need to learn to breath. Diaphragm use, rythmic insipration retention expiration with the heart pulses,etc... ;)
I'm actually not breathing as heavily as it sounds. The mic picks it up more when the bike is not running. Small price to pay for the rest of my audio being stellar. Thanks for watching.
