I'm just going around letting everyone know you can fact fight fangmon and get those slabs 8 times. With the slab in the temple and the one given after defeating fangmon for the last time Chapter 2 got me 10 mature slabs. Y'all just need to keep going to every place you can, again and again until nothing shows at any area that isn't a free battle or place to advance the story.
Came back to leave a comment saying I started over (for a digivolution reason), but upon doing that I took advantage of this and got 6 slabs in the first half of Part 2, before moving forward w/ the next section before the bridge.
Very sad that the "slabs" are the ONLY way to evolve wild Digimon that you befriend (there should've been another *"natural evolution through level-up" option).* I've spent a lot of time leveling-up rookies (like Gazimon, Betamon, Gotsumon) and never found "enough" mature slabs to evolve all of them until their champion evolutions started showing-up in free battles and thereby making all those rookies I trained USELESS the moment I directly befriended all of their champion evolutions. (Really wish they handled "evolution methods" better in this game....)
rookie lvl digimon need les exp to lvl up then champion and so forth so a rookie at lvl 50 evolved to its champion will be alot easier to lvl up then a captured champion lvling up to 50
Wait, so because I progressed in the story past Part 3, I can’t get anymore mature enlightenment stones? So my Digimon are basically stuck in rookie form for the rest of the game? Bruh. 💀
You can farm Perfect and Ultimate evolution stones grinding them from Monzaemons and GranKuwagamon. Talk to them, answer correctly (If fail, retry match) get item. For Mature stones i just beat Champions

Yup this video was helpful. I got 10 slabs total from chapter 2. 1 from the shrine, and 9 from fangmon drops.

It seems to always drop the first battle. I fought it countless times after that and did not get anymore.
Nope i fought 5 battles before i got 1 drop than i got 1 more at the next battle and one more at the last possible battle.
@@xamuca22 mine dropped the first battle then I battled at least 5 more times after that and nothing.
May I know what the maximun you can get from chapter 2?

I guess You can get them as rewards from beating/befriending a Champion Lv free Digimon
