Gosh i can't believe it took me so long to find this song. I watched the dbz kai version and when I was a wee boy and when I couldn't find this song I was so confused because it was the English dub yet people are saying this video are saying this is the Japanese....
I'm 5 years late but basically, this was the original japanese OST for the original Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z anime composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi, when it was brought to north America Falcouner productions studio made their own music to replace it for the English dub, hence why they call this music the Japanese music. When Kai first released they had a different composer called Kenji Yamamoto, but after as the show was airing he got caught for plagiarism so his music was hastily and retroactively replaced with the old Kikuchi music from Z and they kept using Kikuchi's OST until they hired new composer Norihito Sumitomo for the Buu arc of Kai, and unlike the old dub the English version of Kai used the same music as the Japanese version and it along with all other dubs also enacted the change for future broadcast and home video releases, so that's how you got to hear the Japanese music in the English dub.
